so you need to replace the dat file by the one in the previous thread

I compile with ctx36_ts (VTL) driver with this dat file

For Config , You need :

reverse X axis not checked
reverse Y axis checked
swap X/Y not checked

And new point checked too

don't have much time today but will try.

So to build it, I need the config for M7 pro and add GPS support that's all ?

I have problem while enable Bluetooth :

here is dmesg : M7_newkernel_bt.txt
and logcat : M7_newkernel_logcat_bt.zip

here is dmesg :
and logcat :
Finally after reflash Bluetooth is ok now !!!

I get problem with brightness, it 's reversed and if you pull cursor to 80% or more, the screen is black !
Automatic brightness is maybe not working : I get black screen , maybe due to the same problem.

Great !

I think auto brightness is supposed to work but has never and will never work because of the hardware and in the stock firmwares.

Do not bother fixing it.

Now regarding usb audio,
can you try if USB-DACs are now plug and play ?

tks ! now waiting for git to be updated with the future stable sources to build also my own kernel !

OK

I have no OTG (it's working on stock kernel) , so no USB audio

Can someone test that

making 100% of the stock kernel's function to work also in our custom built kernel should be our 1st target;
then we could try fo fix broken things, then add new cool features and make some feature work much metter

I was just saying that I believe that broken auto brightness is due to hardware design fault.

Hmm, I have auto-brightness working ok on stock kernel (jelly bean), and it is quite adequate, so I keep it turned on

ok,
I did not remember auto brightness working on my own M7P back to my JB RR roms period; and on KK RR, it is not working,

so I did/do not miss it that much.

So you have an M7p now? Why haven't you tested the kernel builds too?

Feel free to compile, develop and test a fix for anything you see as not working or missing when compared to stock. I'll be checking my latest code code in a bit later but the current code is 100% for testing and working on.
