      How frustrating that it boot loops! I pushed my config changes to Git so you can build yourself.

            There's pretty much no point being a developer if you aren't going to develop :-D
            Let's not go that route buddy!

            My time will come, maybe soon now, according to latest news... the deal for me was to start from pipo's sources for m7p

            My current kernel has some additional .ko in it and an init.d script I hope will not be needed in the future freaktab kernel.

              THe m7p ROM sources will be almost identical to the ones we have now. My expectation is we diff them to the ones we have now and combine any differences with conditional compile if necessary.

              Since we already have a working base for so many kernels it makes no sense to have many different sources.

              As for .ko / init.d they sit in boot.img and so are irrelevant.

                    No problems Steve. I'll grab my M8HD and try to puzzle out what the problem is.

                    I won't post another kernel until I'm confident.

                      1.25, 1.26, 1.26a constant bootloop

                      also file size wrong, too small...

                      1.24 no 3g, no bluetooth (failed to activate)

                      camera is working, standalone and via apps like barcode scanner or pdf scanner

                      antutu 5.6: 23831

                      epic citadel not working, but also with stock 3.41 kernel not working

                      sad thing about graphics performance:
                      with jelly bean epic citadel ran with 45 fps,
                      with kitkat rr 3.0 it was 28 fps
                      since 3.4 epic citadel is not running at all anymore...
                      also real racing ran faster and more smooth on jelly bean, whereas the whole system was more laggy, no idea why it changed

                        ? The files are all roughly the same size

                        1.24 = 11,737 kb
                        1.25 = 11,753 kb
                        1.26 = 11,745 kb

                        I'll see if I have a GPIO dump for M7Pro to check bluetooth, 3G should be working now if I can stop bootloop

                        What is Epic Citadel and is there any special element it needs to operate that I can look into?

                          I've got the same problem with Bluetooth but a reboot solve this.

                          For Epic Citadel (app fo graphic benchmark) all kitkat Rom has got the same reduced FPS (M8HD too)

                          it seems blocked to 30 FPS. (43 in JB)

                          I think it's due to rockchip 2.0 SDK used in JB (multi windows) maybe not in Kitkat

                            The reason for the bootloop was switching on 3g modem support.

                            I've removed and it boots fine. I'll investigate the reason when I get chance
