You may have gotten me wrong here. It`s the ROM cookers who this. The stock ROM don`t come deodexed and zipaligned from Samsung. They all swear to it - in fact EVERY ROM cooker deodexes and zipalignes his ROM so I guess it really must be worth the job.
I understand you being confused. From what I understand and read about it one might think it even might possibly be a showstopper in some situations.
But for real on all devices I know (all Samsung) every new Rom/Leak gets deodexed and zipaligned so I thought you`d do that too since your V1.07 really was a lot FASTER then the one from arcatablet.

so I could easily say my ROMs ore deodexed as they have never been odexed.

I honestly think with cooking ROMs that letting the original ROMs do what they do well is one of the keys to a good ROM. There can be a temptation to apply fixes that have worked on one ROM to another without any understanding of what the fix is and how it works.

Zip aligned may help some but I'd have to spend some time looking at it. I've always been happy with the performance of my ROMs so this has not been a top priority.

Maybe Cube has a different thinking about it. Maybe Samsung uses odexed because of touchwiz(developement).
Zipaligning .....well.....Performance can never be too high

Freeze from firmware flashing

Hello,

After install the firmware -and 2 days of using it- my u30gt do nothing when i press the power button. Also, when i put it to charge, the camera flash starts to flashing without stop.

I´ve tried to reflash it without success, also I´ve tried to unbrick it but the PCs don't recognize the device (I used a high-quality usb cable). Some ideas about how to fix it?
