d33 ,
Is "kernel_M6PRO_D33_1.00" yours or maakie's?
If it's yours, could you describe kernel settings? And what's the difference with the maakie's kernel?

We are running into problems on other tablets with replacement displays having touch screen issues like you describe. While our kernel guys might be able to make a kernel that would solve the problem, I suggest you stick with my 1.8.2 RileyROM if it's working for you.
If anyone else is having the same problem...please report.

I bought these:
And they worked great with M6 PRO. My other usb cables were not long enough, but these were.

I used a powered version from this fleabay seller 390907430181 for quite a while
If you get an android TV box then a powered hub is an essential item for keyboard adaptors, programming joypads and USB flash drives. I got a 3 port one similar to fleabay item 121512455536
This ROM is fantastic, it is by far the best ROM that's ever been out for this tablet. Riley etc are to be applauded for their hard work

M6 crashing
Even before this upgrade I'm getting intermittent crashes. The screen freeks-out and you just see vertical lines and you have to do a pin-reset.
It keeps happening with this update as well. But at least it reboots itself without the pin-reset!
It happens pretty frequently now.
Is my M6Pro busted for good?
Thanks
Update1: I put the table into 'Normal' mode. Lets see how long it goes like this.....
Update2: 2 Slices in Ninja Fruit and POW! Crash! Boom! Dead. :-(Last edited by PipoM6Pro_User; 01 January 2015, 16:34.

With the Flash Tool running, you will see the tablet in Loader Mode.
Other things to check are:
1. Use the USB cable that came with the tablet.
2. Make sure USB debugging is turned off.
3. Use a USB 2.0 port...not USB 3.0.
4. Don't go through a USB hub.
5. Try different USB ports.
It was USB 3.0 vs 2.0! Too many usb ports on my computer and not labeled....
Once plugged into a true usb2, all went well as expected!
Thank you!
Happy New Year!

Getting ROM_Flash_Tool_137 to recognize M6 PRO
I'm having some problems with ROM_Flash_Tool_137 finding M6 PRO.
I got as far as 'Switch' ing to the Flash Mode with ROM_Dumper_Tool.exe.
When I do this the 2 rock-drives in 'Disk drive' hive in the 'Device Manager' disappear and the 'Class for rockusb devices', Rockusb Device shows up instead.
From here I'm stuck. I tried rebooting the M6Pro, with and without the 'ESC' key pressed , but that does not get me any further. 'Found RK Android Loader Rock Usb' never shows up in ROM_Flash_Tool_137.
I used the Driver tool to install rock drivers. I'm running x64 Windows 7.
Any suggestions?
Thanks and Happy New Year!
If this is not the right thread to post this, let me know.
