Again, it's all explained in the pdf document in the ROM kit.
I have downloaded and extracted Pipo_M6_Pro_FreaktabROM_1.1.zip, inside there are 4 folders(drivers language log rom) and 3 files config.cfg an ini file and the executable rom_flash_tool137. I can find no Pdf in the archive or said folders. I have also downloaded and extracted PipoM6Pro_ROM_141031.zip from post #1. and again i have found no Pdf file. how big is it? I am currently downloading Pipo_M6_Pro_FreaktabROM_1.0.zip and will check that for a pdf. can u please tell me the exact file path to the first time users guide (pdf?) document? or provide a direct link to just the one file? thanks

sup. 1st post. i got a pipo max-m6 pro last year for xmass. i hadnt really messed with it much till about November when i realized my usb was pushed too far in to make a proper connection to my PCs and flasdrive. i recently bought some pry tools, opened it and flashed the current pipo firmware from the pipo website (M6pro新UI_1.1.6_update_20140318) using rockbatch 1.7 , im not sure but i think when u flash the firmware with the case open like i did the device goes into upgrade mode automatically cause i didnt have to press any volume up reset keys as those buttons were still in the case lid and not connected. my question is can i use rockchip batch 1.7 by itself to install Pipo_M6_Pro_FreaktabROM_1.1 or do i need to use it in conjunction with ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe somehow? also do i need to install more than that one image file when dealing with freaktab-1.1? or will system.img located in the rom folder cover them all. I don't know if i need to do anything with the kernel, boot or recovery .img and is it correct that when flashing these custom roms with rockbatch 1.7 I need to select recovery rather than the upgrade tab? Im basically just trying to find the best rom or hopefully the best single image file to flash, whether it be kitkat with rockbatch 1.8 or riley or jellybean before i start amassing apps. aside from the fact that my usb isnt as flush with the case as the hdmi port is i havent really used the tablet or android 4.2.2 long enough to know if something is not working right. ive only played with like one or two apps so far. but i keep thinking that there is a better rom than the one i have so i thought i'd mess around a bit after reading multiple threads i figured this was the best one to try? but im open to other suggestions even if it means just keeping the one i have installed now. thanks for reading this any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

or i want to start app A and instead app B starts

i had this also with 1.8.2 though
But i dont have this problem in 1.8.2. It's my only problem here in FTrom. Im kinda annoyed on 1.8.2 reboot issue, FTrom doesn't have a rebooting issue when im using it and it's really so smooth. I want to use FTrom daily but i need to remove that problem first.

It looks as if the touches go faster than your own finger, and also next to where you actually touch.

In my case it is ONLY during charging, and I think it has to do with the 'noise' of the switched mode powersupply.
As soon as I unplug the charger, the behaviour is normal again.

So I don't think it is a real defect, our tabs are just susceptable to electric fields.....

    Yes it's exactly the same

Here's my proof about my touch problem, I enable Show Touches and Pointer Location (lines) in the Development Options for you to clearly see it though the video is blurred. You can also see that as the diagonal lines appear, my home screen suddenly moves and at the end of the video my typing stops. I can't explain it well but I really think that when I touch Point A and suddenly touch Point B, the touch slides through the touchscreen that results the stopping of the touch. You can also see in the keyboard that sometimes when I tap a key, the diagonal line appear and the key doesn't light up because its not recognized as a touch..

I hope my problem is clear now, this problem only appears in this ROM and not on Riley KK 1.8.2 and JB 1.6.1.
P.S, its difficult to write a comment with this problem just like now and to play rhythm games such as Cyrus and Deemo.
    Anyone seen my problem?

i don't know if it helps, but
    • in google device manager my pipo doesn't appear
    • i did a full delete of play services data, and for some minutes the search bar was of the right lenght, then it went back to the wrong lenght
    • with disabled wifi i get a first gps fix in 4:44, with ntp support 2:37

despite this, it is almost like a whole new tablet

yes, i know. my situation in these days has been
    • connected to wifi
    • high precision mode in geolocation

with no faster gps -> no fix, no location, even after hours (yes with 1.8.2)
with faster gps -> fast fix

google location service is still somehow "excluded"

    i have absolutely no idea
but it was not fake. the location was 110% correct, and since i didn't know faster gps, until yesterday inside a building i had no signal, a fix inside never took place (today 13 seconds )
but i was connected to my wifi. google somehow located me.
i would really like riley and maakie's opinion on this
