Major Problem, hope someone can help

Been trying to get this working properly for about the last 6 hours and now I am afraid I may have a huge problem. I got the TWRP recovery installed, as I was trying to increase storage for apps on this new tablet. Went to reboot and it informed me there was no OS so of course I was confused. I went ahead and tried it anyway, get to the Freaktab loading screen and just hangs there. I restart it to boot into recovery and try flashing again with same result. SO I went back to your thread to restore back to stock recovery (I was going to load the image you had provided rather than using TWRP flashing as that had worked previously for me) Flashed the "Stock Recovery" zip file and rebooted into recovery... only to see my poor android lying dead on the ground with a red triangle for a few minutes and then going to the Freaktab screen and again just hanging there. I have the correct image (that worked previously to me trying to use TWRP) on the external SD, but at this point I am at a loss as to how to access recovery or otherwise load it onto the tablet.

I know it's Christmas but if anyone can help me out asap I'd really appreciate it.

Can you not hold the power button and the volume up buttons at the same time and boot into recovery?

Answer that then we will proceed further

Sorry maybe I didn't explain, at this point when I do that It splashes the Nextbook powered by Android screen briefly, goes dark, then shows the Android robot flat on his back with a red triangle with exclamation point over him(which from what I understand is a VERY bad sign). After a minute or two like that it goes to the Freaktab splash screen with the bearded Droid and fails to proceed any further.

What happens if you try the power and volume combo from the bearded droid screen?

After about 10 seconds or so it powers down but does not attempt to reboot. If I then attempt to reboot into recovery it gives the same screens. I should note that when I attempt to power it on normally it does not show the Nextbook powered by Android screen or the fallen Droid screen, it jumps straight to the bearded Droid and just stays there.

Just so I understand clearly, if you power up from a complete power off situation, without it plugged into the charger it goes to the dead droid.....correct?

Reason I said not on charge is because mine has difficulty if I try booting up while charging

Correct, it is not on the charger while I am doing this, but it ONLY shows the dead Droid before the bearded Droid screen when I am attempting to boot into recovery.

I am no expert but it kind of seems to me that using the flash for going back to stock recovery has removed TWRP but there is something critical missing to actually load the stock recovery so I can restore back to the image on the SD card.

At this point the only files or anything I can access are the SD card by removing it and using my PC to load files

ok, I'm at a loss..unfortunately you going to have to rely on somebody more experienced that me. Hopefully someone will be around before to long.

Sorry I couldn't be of assistance

It sounds like your recovery partition got messed up somehow...

The good news, is you can still reflash the tablet using one of the Rockchip PC flashing tools, although I can't offer much help the process, because I don't use any of these tools. If you decide to give it a try, I would suggest taking the TWRP recovery image out one of update.zip files to flash using the tool, then use TWRP to flash the ROM again.

Okay so after spending all day on this let me go over what I've encountered and see if you or anyone else may have some suggestions.

Started out with the Rockchip flash suggestion, but it was not recognizing the tablet to flash to. I discovered that the PC was not properly recognizing the device so it was not using correct drivers so I tried about 5 different ways to get the proper drivers to install for the device to no avail. (the ones I downloaded from NextbookUSA tell me no device attached, so still not recognizing it properly even though I can see it under device manager)

Next step I discovered was that I CAN in fact access the recovery menu on the tablet itself with the following options:
                          reboot system now
                          apply update from ADB
                          apply update from external storage
                          update rkimage from external storage
                          apply update from cache
                          wipe data/factory reset
                          wipe cache partition
                          recovery system from backup

At this point I was super excited as I figured I could just throw an image on the micro SD card and update from there... only to discover that I get an "E:failed to mount mnt/external_sd (No such device)" error which doesn't actually let me access the sd card. On top of that, "recovery system from backup gives me "E:Can't find system"

So back to the drawing board, I tried updating from ADB, but the PC won't recognize it as an ADB device so cannot sideload from ADB that way.

I have tried all of the other recovery options it gives me with no results, I'm at the point of wanting to pull my hair out with this thing. Is there any way to force access from my PC into the tablet so that I can modify contents of internal memory? At this point the computer sees the device but I cannot access the actual files on the memory.

Any help or suggestions you all could provide would be greatly appreciate

RELAX! rockchips are almost invincible as far as software failures go okay so from what i understand youve installed rockusb drivers ?... if so your problem is the tablet isnt in loader mode to access bootloader mode !.) with tab from the red triangle screen hold power and both volume buttons down until it powers off it should now be in boootloader mode from there use rkandroidtool to flash it with rkandroidtool open on your cpu plug in tablet if its on hold power and both volumes until it turns off and u should see found rkloader or something similair to that the key is "found" if its offf hold both volume buttons until you see found rkloader . if thats succesful then your home free it defintiley sounds like you corrupted the partition table so first things first you need the stock recovery to format the partitions ill post a link at the bottom . !. download the recovery to from rkandroidtool click erase idb 3. ***MAKE SURE you only have the recovery partition box checked and obviously click it and load the recovery img you just downloaded. 4. Run .aka. flash it should run if all is well it should flash and boot into recovery you will see recovery running a script referring to formatting. now hopefully from there you can use shauns update.img and flash it from recovery if not you can use rkbatchtool. with rkbatchtool open it should say found rkloader (same as rkandroid tool) you will have a green box if all is well click upgrade and input the path to the rkimage and then hit run/f;ash and you should have a restored tablet simple as that.
if that dosent work repost on here and ill instruct you on your other options DONT WORRY YOUR TABLET WILL BE FIXED its really not too difficult if you understand android/linux

No offense dude but you have a really lazy writing style that is very hard to read. Don't know how you can give anyone legible instructions the way you write.

So this worked, sort of. I did manage to get ShaunMT's image to load via RKBatch Tool so I can actually use the tablet, however I am still getting an error whenever I go into recovery. (It is giving me stock recovery options, but says "E: Failed to mount mnt/externalsd" or something along those lines) so I am unable to load a new image. I would like to get TWRP or CWM to work on this so that I can get to the solution for my original problem but not sure where to go from here.

Would ADB sideloading be a possible solution at this point? Just looking for some guidance before I start messing around and potentially cause more problems lol

Thank you so much for your help!
