I have a quick question, not a complaint. Why isn't Google plus compatible with the MINIX Neo X8-H? I use this app all the time and would love to be able to use it on this device. If I recall, it worked on my Tronsmart t428.

XBMC

It debloats the ROM of all those pre-installed APPS. This includes Airplay and Minix XBMC!
The reason I removed them is because Minix XBMC may still have bugs

What is the recommended version of XBMC?
or we can just use the version for minix?

Hey Bob. Thanks for all the work on Minix devices. I'm currently going between this and my fire tv because they both have their pluses and minuses.

Do you happen to have an MD5 for this download? I'm used to checking those for my roms.

- MX Player v1.7.34 = stutter
- BsPlayer = perfect
- Player natif = perfect
- kodi-14.0-Helix_rc1-armeabi-v7a = perfect ... DTS 5.1 ( OK )
- wasser-kodi-1.0 = perfect ... DTS 5.1 ( OK )

For the rest, all seems fine functioned, it's really, a great ROM.

Google has changed Google+ and Google Music and they do not work for some reason!
I spent a couple hours trying to find out why.

So you know when you install a APP from Google Play it determines things like your SDK level, device, etc. It appears the X8 is getting the wrong version possibly because it is reporting a SDK level that this ROM is actually not! Again I tried to see if I could solve this but the logs simply do not give me enough info to find out why it just crashes out!

I am going to continue to see if I can find out what the problem is but it is not looking easy!

No, Google Play now looks at many things about the device. The days of just spoofing a device name are kind of over. It helps a little but does not solve everything.

Think I saw a post that google music works using the version in the firmware and any updates screw it up , not tried it myself .

Correct the older version works. I took it out of my ROM but did not put it in the removed apps folder
If anyone needs that APK let me know.
