    1. It is very heavy, much heavier than anything else I've used.
    2. The build quality is poor. When you touch the screen you hear plastic noises, as if the screen and case don't fit together well. The screen is pressed down against the case and it makes small poping noises that are extremely annoying. it is similar to low quality laptop keyboards that bend inwards. it is really annoying it is not a small matter, it just feels awful and cheap. THe noises also occur when you pick it up, or move it.
    3. The screen is not smooth enough to the touch, and is not responsive like other Tablets. I did remove the plastic sheet.

I'll keep updating. Anyone else noticed these problems?

    BTW, Chrome works.
Ad 1. That true.. it's little bit heavy but it's not a problem... there is lof of aluminium and huge battery
Ad 2. In my opinion its middle class... not to bad, but its not a iPad i dont hear any noises...
Ad 3 update firmware to 1.05 and do a factory reset... should be better... i had the same problem at the beginning...

I hope it's not that bad.. First I wanted to buy 9X which is cheap and good, but when T9 was released it seemed an obvious choise to pay extra 30 USD for a new version..

I also bought the T9 and hopefully will get it in a couple weeks.
I really wanted an 8" precisely because of weight and ergonomics.
I am not sure this tablet will be very mobile because of its size.
As for weight from what I've read I shouldnt notice any difference because it weighs about the same as the nexus 7 2012 which I have right now.

Build quality is something I havent heard before so I am surprised with the posters reply.
I bought the Cube isntead of a PIPO or IFive precisely because I keep reading that the Cube is superior.

Hopefully as more people get their hands on this tablet we will get more reviews.

Anyone know if Cube is going to update it to Lollipop 64bits sometime?

                  Really???
                  What a pity!!!
Cube talk9x is sooooo good I imagined that T9 couldn't be that bad...
In any case it's impossible to be as crap as a Pipo device!!

                    I disagree with balvan64.

Just got mine, and will detail more later.

                    So far ...
                    Solid. No creaks or pops.
It is heavier, but not so much as one might think. Feels about like my iPad 2.
No grainy screen. Very bright. Came set less than 50%.
Camera. Not that bad. I imagine with a good program like Snapseed, I will like it a lot.
Wi-fi. No tests yet, but seems very strong.
Sound. Tinny but plenty loud. No big deal. If I want to watch a movie or listen to music, I will use headphones or buds.

                    Ergonomics.
About the size of my M8 Pro, smaller than the iPad by a good portion (but with same screen size).
Easy to hold, even though so far it is still semi wrapped. I have no doubt the dimpled back with give extra security in holding. Where the edge comes up to wrap around the glass, there is a very slight rise; gives a bit of extra assurance in holding.

                    Like the edge design!

Actually like the back, but it would be better not white in color.

Came very well packaged from geekbuying.com.

More later, but what is NOT to like about this tab! to Cube!

                    Surely I will find something!

                      BamaPanda,
ok, this seems more consistent with what I supposed about bad points: quite heavy (60-70gr more than the talk 9x) and with a not so loud speaker.
Other than that, well built more or less on the same level of the well known cube talk 9x!

As far as I know I suppose that you will find it fast, smooth and with a very good battery life too.

I would prefer a different color of the back too! On this point it is a step backward wrt talk 9x with a beautiful colored alluminum back.

Actually I think the point about being heavy is overdone. It is solid, and a bit thicker than a 9X.

The back, I think will be better than the 9X. Yes, I would have liked another color, but the dimpled surface should make it easier to hold onto.

The 9X, even though I was drawn to it's very thin profile, was slippery to hold at times because of the back ...and that (along with being a bit careless) was what led to it's demise.

That is all a personal opinion, of course.
Still ..I am thinking that I am going to like this tab more than the 9X ...and trust me, the 9X is one fine tablet!

Oh, the speaker can have plenty of volume. It is just tinny.

                        Edit:
Regarding the back. It is still pretty slick, so it may actually not be an improvement in holding. Jury still out.
They could have actually textued the back in such a way to actually help in the holding dept. with little effort.
                        Oh, well.

                          a video

                          Hi
Here is a video of the crackling sound: https://www.mediafire.com/?5kbwo9yb8o47uqh
The speaker is good compared to Asus TF201, it's not of high quality, but loud and clear, great of youtube.

I asked the seller for a 50$ refund for the built quality.
My device can also bend if I hold it by the edges and bend it.
                          Does anyone else's device bends?

Well.. find me a consumer device that won't bend if you try to bend it..

I got a T7 and it seems to have a lot in common with the T9.

Some strange things that i have noticed:

-the display has a lot of drag when i was sliding my fingers on it at first, it's fine now that oil from my fingers is on it. Screen is very responsive and accurate.

-screen is nice and not grainy but insanely bright even at low setting, i have to use screen filter just to use it in a dark room

-imperfections and scratches around the sim card and tf card slots(probably because its an early unit...)

-seems to lose a lot of power during standby?

                                -Can't root with root genius

                                Good things:

-Back makes it really easy to hold i like it more than if it was made with a slippery more premium material

-The speaker is really loud with volume booster, sounds tinny but it's fine at low-mid volume

-getting average speedtest of 50 mbps when i have a 150mbps connection(pretty normal but just throwing it out there)

-New soc is very fast and you can tell by playing games and opening things. Total score in antutu 40189, in details the cpu score is very impressive but gpu seems to hold it back compared to other devices around the same total score

-All apps i have tried work so far.

-Black screen gestures are really useful

-ota updates from cube!(hoping for lolipop soon)
