Hello. I'm looking for an ideal tablet for me (home and outdoor using - internet, navigation+gps, pdf, images, movies, rare games). Very important for me is the best quality of screen (brightness and resolution 4:3). When i'm still reading i choose some of those tablets: cube T9, 9X, teclast x98 or ifive air.
What would you choose when you're in my place?
Many thanks for your help.

Out of the 4 mentioned, the Teclast is the one I read the most issues with. In that I push it to the side.
The other 3 ...
T9 has 4G and speed.
...then the 9X with the iFive.
The T9 is a bit thicker (bigger battery), and heavier, but I do not find it an issue at all.
Cube is using a layer on the underside of the glass screen with the T9 to help with glare. Some have noted a grain effect, but I have not noted such with my copy.
All of these tablets are Retina type screens, and placed side by side the T9 might appear to be not as vibrant as the others because of the anti-reflective property of the T9, but in everyday use all three will be beautiful examples of what a Retina screen should do. All have more brightness than you can ever use.
The 9X and iFive are both high quality using different SoC ...one MTK, the other Rockchip. Both should be pretty equal in performance ...but they both lag behind the T9.
Which brings me right back to my choice of the T9 and why. It is fast ....VERY fast! It has an anti-reflective feature that should help with outdoor use that you mention. It is 4G. It is 64 bit. It has a better outer camera (which none are really great). Not as light or thin as the others, but a bigger battery has to take up some space and weight.
Just some of my reasons why I would choose the T9. All three are of the best quality that China is producing today, but the T9 has more going for it.
I wish you well.Last edited by BamaPanda; 19 January 2015, 00:52.Cube T9; Pipo M8 Pro (on life support); LG gPad

iFive air has NO GPS. I do not like Rockchip processors so much...
I would go for cube talk 9x (custom roms, fast enough, long battery life, very reliable 3G) or cube T9 (faster, newer, 4G support, but a little bit heavier).if you appreciate my efforts this is the link for any donation:

If anyone has a solution to suggest, I'll be very happy to give a clean install of my tablet. Thank you.

Pls let me know. Cube T9 and X9 has the same screen? Both of these has the same grain issue screen?
I've read a lot of topics and saw that both of tablets has the same issue with screen.
Is this very problem to use every day any of these tablets?
I think i should choose T9 or X9.
Best regards and thank you.

I have read of few cases, so whatever the issue is or is not, I think there is little to worry about.
I have no doubt that the anti-reflective film was applied poorly in some cases, but it would not surprise me if some of the reports were due to some sort of expectation ....realized or not ...due to the report of a problem, when there was actually not an issue!
:-\
Again ...no screen issue here. Someone had all three tablets, and mentioned that they could see a difference in the screens, but it was not an issue. Cube has applied an anti-reflective coating. It probably makes for slightly different levels of color satiation, but that does not mean it is a bad thing.
If the film is applied wrong, I understand. Otherwise, it is just different.Cube T9; Pipo M8 Pro (on life support); LG gPad

I just received my T9 just a few hours ago.
I have one question about something unclear for Cube T9 owners.
Tablet arrived with firmware 1.2.
After 3 OTA updates I noticed my IMEI changed to 11111111111111.
Mobile data and phone function is still available..no loss here.
Cube and Mediatek just started to hide IMEI on latest FW?
I found my IMEI number on Google Dashboard in 2 instances under T9 (111111111111111 and 35774236884xxxx)..
In FW 1.2 checked after first start and was visible like 35774236884xxxx.
WTF?
L.E And serial number was changed in 123456789abcdef. Real serial no. I was able to find in Engineering Mode so it isn't lost.
Please, someone with FW1.5 might could check if this is a common problem?
