About midday in France but very early for american guys; you must be asleep... I switch on the T9; it was switched off and fully charged. The screen and Tablet is completely "cold"...
First test with "Kids Paint free" (by Virtual GS); ...quite bad...
I remove my "1.20 USD" screen protector; the screen is "new", a bit "sticky"... I am "sweating" a bit too... With Kids paint, it's a little better now , but my fingers and the screen are a bit "sticky"...
I realize there is actually another screen protector on the screen; I can see it with the circle around the eye of the camera...
So, my T9 was delivered with TWO screen protectors outside and apparently one more inside UNDER the glass...

    I sum up:
-BamaPanda left all the screen protectors and it works for him.
-Edius removed both outside ones and it works.
-Ogu: it works "almost" perfectly (with or without the screen protector(s)?
-Riddick removed one and seems to be pleased...
-Hekatombe: it didn't work very well for him, but maybe, a "miracle occured"...
-maxecume (...me): I let one and it is better but not perfect; it's new and a litlle "sticky" now... I ordered a Vikuiti Talk 9x screen protector and will remove the "second outside" protector later...
-hammerjoe removed one screen protector and it "doesn't work completely well"
-Booshman tried to remove the inside protector but broke something.

and everybody find the screen "grainy", I think...

Am I OK with everybody...? I will update as you notice me...

      OK. Sounding better!

Correction. The film below the screen is there permanently to help with glare. Some apparently were installed wrong which actually gave a problem with grain, but most are fine. There is not a real grainy screen issue, but it is different when compared to other tablets. The only real protector is the 2nd from top.

There is a new ROM out by Randy Riley, which should address touch issue even better once mature.

Hecatombe's tablet started working properly all of a sudden. He was very happy and confused last time he typed!

So there is hope! Hang in there!

BT keyboards fitted to Cube 9X should work just fine with T9.
Look here and I'm pretty sure you'll find some good pieces or wait to respond someone who use one of these.

Yes, after flashing it appears an "ok" green box. I suppose it is correct

I have removed one of the layers of the screen protector and its a mixed result.
Its better than with the two pieces of plastic but sometimes it works fine and then the next minute it doesnt which leads me to believe this is a software problem.

I am tempted to try Riley rom but becuase Im still on the fence about returning this tablet I dont dare make any miodifications yet.

Does anyone know where I can find the firmware files for the cube t9?

here you can find cube stock roms:

1.04 is the latest available there (the others comes only as OTA updates).

                            Thanks.

So the changelog for 1.04 is :
T9 Firmware V1.04 (improved sliding screen and game fluency)

Wonder what else was improved with 1.05 adnd 1.06...

                            Does this tablet have compass?
I cant seem to be able to calibrate the proximity sensor and/or the compass.
Antutu says that they are supported.
Do they work on this table or not?

                              Storage Issue

                              Hi,
I'm having trouble with the storage.

In the storage settings menu there are 3 storage options:
                              1. Internal Storage.
                              2. USB Storage
                              3. External\SD card.

Internal storage has about 2GB, and the USB storage is actually the other 30GB of the space.
In the top of the settings menu you can choose between 2 options for defualt write disk, either the USB storage or External.

When you download apps from google play, it installs them on the Internal storage by defualt, and there apears to be no way of changing thatr. What happens is that you run out of space pretty fast (Only 2 GB).

In the apps menu you can use the optio to "Move to USB Storage", but that doesn't work for all apps, and that doesn't move the entire app there, just the data. and After using the app again, it might save new data to the internal storage, and you'll have to move it manually again.

I have an android phone - HTC M7 - and it has only one storage option - Phone Storage - which represents all of its 32GB.

What am I suppose to do about this?
                              Anyone encountered this issue?
Am I the only one who have his 32GB divided like that?

I'll appreciate help. This issue turn this device into a 2GB device, which is useless.

                              Thanks

                                Balvan

That is the default use of this tablet.
You would need to use a custom ROM or hope that Cube changes that with a future firmware version. Lollipop maybe?
