NEW OTA upgrade for cube talk 9x

Spoke too soon.....I moved the 20150407 update to my sdcard. I prepared the tab to update {backup,clear, format ect}. So instead of remounting sdcard I downloaded again to update. I received a smaller newer update. V2.0_20150409
Whats up with that?

Interesting! I never received 20150407. As soon as I installed the earlier (January) OTA, I was offered V2.0_20150409. Seems OK so far. Maybe they messed up with 20150407?

Could you please share the 20150407 update? I hope I can jump forward if I can install that update!

Edit: I updated to 20150407 no problem......then tried the 20150409 received error. Unexpected object in visualwallpapers.apk ???? I replaced, deleted, restored, ect. Still have same issue. Any ideas??

I tried both of those new updates. They didn't work. I got this error:

Package expects build fingerprint of  HTT:4.4.2/KOT49H/1421198781:user/test-keys or HTT:4.4.2/KOT49H/1428567994:user/test-keys; this device has HTT:4.4.2/KOT49H/1404477686:user/test-keys.
Update.zip is not correct
Installation aborted

I'm still stuck with 20141111 which is working just fine. Thanks to TexBud anyway.

No I didn't try those. First I tried to flash TexBud's files via recovery directly but it didn't even start installing. Then I put update.zip files to FOTA folder and tried to update via settings. It started well but ended up to error above. Maybe I try Aimless files tomorrow if I have spare time. I was lazy and tried the easy way

I notice that installing these two recent OTA updates seems to have added a new app with a name something like "OneClickDeleteApps" (might not be exactly right, not in front of tab right now).
I'm not quite sure what it's intended for, but annoyingly, it can't be uninstalled or even hidden by disabling it (stock ROM)

The Cube Logo appeared as normal, blinked and then stayed there. Normally i get the boot animation, but it just freezes. If i go to Recovery Mode in the Bootmenu (Powerbutton plus Vol Up)
i get the same boot hang

Also if i connect it to my Power Adapter i get a Battery Icon which is empty, even if i let it connected the whole night.

I also tried to flash stock Rom with SP Flash Tool, but I have a BROM error : S_FT_download fail with kits we can find here.

I have seen Lepi's videos ...
I've tried many ways to enter this recovery ....

Any idea ?

I bought a Cube talk 9x with a following informations :
Android version : 4.4.2
Build version : 0502L012_EP79-U65GTB18MXXTDC_V2.0_20141111

When I want apply an update proposed by android :
0502L012_EP79-U65GTB18MXXTDC_V2.0_20150114
Size : 3,04 MB
Date : 20150114
The tablet reboots, installs the update and shows "error!" with the informations :

Installing update ....
Verifying current system...
"/system/app/LatinIME.apk" has unexpected contents.
Update.zip is not correct
Installation aborted.

Can you please tell me how to update this file ?
Is it possible it is a hardware issue ?

It is a very common issue (not HW related).
No solution at the moment.
Don't worry, the proposed update is practically useless, so you can use your device without issues.

Do you know approximately when a patch will release to resolve this issue ?
I contacted several times the Cube support and no one answer, very strange.
I confirm for the moment the tablet works fine in 20141111 build but it's important to update the tablet to fix a potential security issue...
