What do you mean by the zip you included. I flashed stock. Imediatly went into cwm. Formated data. Wiped system and data and data/media like described.

Got to get a couple hours sleep.

Netflix

Daughter is sick so working from home today....good news netflix works just zoomed out. Do you still need the log? I tester Crackle SPMC Google Movies and TV. It doesn't seem to have broke anything. Google play movies is wierd. This was before as well. If i download the content it will play but it wont stream.

Google play movies is one of the apps that requires Widevine DRM (in fact I noticed the broken DRM because of it force closing with the DRM libraries, without them it doesn't play nothing).

BTW, try to flash again the yesterday's rom (to restore the previous environment) and try this zip instead.

Is there any way you can make an alternate kernel. One that is not so aggressive to under clock. I understand for most the standard works well. Mine barely gets warm. I would like to push mine and put a fan on it to keep it cool?

Not an overclock. When i was checking out stock rom it appears that it underclocks a lot. I watched it with set cpu. I also saw in i think the dtb files where if at a certain temp it underclocks. I modified but it didnt make a difference.

I see it running at 1536 most of the time, when the load is required. You can set up the performance governor if you don't want to scale it down, but it's just useless

I wonder if my temp sensor is bad. Mine runs at 1250 90% of the time. Ill write a script to do it if you cant. And just keep hammering it with 1536 every second. I did it with my mk808 orig....then grep top and it if was under 50% it would let it go idle...basically i want it full speed if i am using it unless i am watching a movie.

And performance doesn't seem to act like performance. On the mk808 it would go full speed all the time.

Netflix 2nd Tru

1st was better. To make sure i did it right. I just wiped system and data and data/media. Flashed cm 12 then gapps then 2nd netflix. Rebooted and set it up. Netflix is full screen but skipping. But now that i think about it... i didnt notice artifacts this time..

All testing was done 720

post a logcat, I wanna see if omx is acting better. The first version was using a hack to fool netflix and using the media player apis.

Their OMX libraries seem completely broken in Lollipop... just for knowing what you were meaning, can you grab me a picture of your screen while running netflix with the first zip I supplied (no need to reflash or factory reset), to understand what do you mean with the video issue you mentioned
