No. tried it, too. For those interested: look for leanback launcher.

BTW: I tried Ethernet and it works just out of the box (with a random cheap chinese ethernet adapter).

        1. How can I run Google TV remote that can control MK808B plus with mobile phone?
        2. How can I run Wireless display that can display the screen of a cell phone?

It exists in the stock Rom

        Sorry my bad English...

You can't, at the time I released this rom I had not included the remote control app. I've kept updating only the WeTek Play rom (which has it working).

Regarding miracast it's not going to work. OMX is required. It will on 4.4 I guess, never been interestead in it, it's laggy as hell with a tremendous latency. Cable FTW.

Thank You, I am very satisfied, especially because WiFi and Kodi work perfectly.

Just one little thing: when starting the application it is very laggy: click the icon, and the application is started after 1-2 seconds. Is there help?

You can try to replace superuser with supersu and see if anything changes. Kodi startup takes always some time, even on my htpc with a Phenom II X4 and a Samsung 840 EVO.

How can I change the Superuser with SuperSu? Do I just install SuperSu and assign the rights?

Laggy, that is in all applications, when I click the mouse and see it on TV, need 0.5-2 seconds to start this action

Edit: I installed SuperSu, I do not see less lagg...

Oh, the initial boot? I thought you were referring to the fact that Kodi takes some time to start.
Well you have to think that the S805 is an underpowered SOC (even if it behaves pretty good for its price) and Android loads tons of stuff at boot, you have to let it settle. Think of it like a 10 years old Win XP pc.

Guys really, the marketing could advertise them as "mini-pc" but the fact is that they are not even close to a 5 year old celeron.

BTW the more apps you install the more chance that the app does something at boot exist, on CM you can disable these things using AppOps.

So what's the answer? I have two MK808B+ and they have Mali-450 (support H265) which at the moment is the best GPU on Amlogic Board same as S812 GPU. Best thing is to flash it with OpenELEC and once the H265 is fixed it will be an amazing 4k format player for £25.00 delivered - huge bang for your buck. OpenELEC on the MK808B+ is just amazingly FAST.

What's the answer? You have to let it settle it's not an i7 with a fast ssd. If you're prompted with the launcher it doesn't mean boot has ended. Once it has settled and all boot services or app have started it's as fast as oe (almost since oe is not poisoned by java). If oe fits you better just use it. I'm not jealous :P

My work HP 9470 I5 with 180gig SSD where I dual boot Win7 for work and Official OpenELEC for home use. I use docking station to my TV of an evening and I can honesty say that the I5s official OpenELEC speed over the OpenELEC 808 is hardly noticeable. In my mind Android on these dongles is not good unless you have a power horse like a S812 with 2-4gb ram, Mali T678. I don't think T678 is available for Amlogic yet as it only supports rockchip which is not OpenELEC friendly. My 808 running latest finless would idle taking up almost 50% ram in Kodi but now it idles for me at around 12% and the 9470 zero.

People asks for Android and manufacturers give Android. Market share of Android is > 80% so they don't care if it's laggy as long as it has apps.

I agree with you, people want Android as its an smazing OS and I'm glued to my Moto G and would never swap it for anything else and that I'm typing on it right now and would certainly never go to IOS but everyone to their own and I find Android on these boxes & dongles just very frustrating, but on my phone its amazing. OpenELEC on my phone would be rubbish or any other OS than Android. Every device has its merit Tailored to a certain software I guess. 808B+ in OpenELEC plays ISO's very well but not perfect as the 9470 through OpenELEC plays them better than any DVD/Bluray player out there and I've tested a few but Bluray as you know is rapidly becoming obsolete.

Yes it works quite well, but no Ethernet, you have to use Wifi (which was unstable for me) or usb ethernet.
