there's an assert in the updater-script that's why you can't flash it using another recovery but the linked CWM (try to boot it from a different sd card, or load latest stock using amlogic burning tool, had to do that with my brand new device because it wasn't loading any recovery otherwise). Or you can try to modify the updater-script removing that assert.

Ah yes, found it. Do i delete that line and just save->zip it and proceed? Next line begins with an if else, so Im not sure. (programming noob)

Right now it is ->

Should I just delete the first line or should I delete the ifelse too and start with (removed the ifelse closign bracket->

Im just guessing here, do let me know. Also perhaps you can remove the assert and post the file, Im mortally scared of bricking the damn thing.

it should be ok deleting the ifelse too. remove the .crt and other files relative to the signature, you can flash it unsigned I guess, otherwise you'll have to re-sign it using the generic platform keys

Try to toggle on/off the physical keyboard switch in the keyboard selector. Maybe something stale is causing you problems

Thanks for all the work porting the 5.0 to this device.
Just wanted to know if you found any way to deliver 1080p as resolution.
From the research i've done the device have 1080p, on the first firmware correct? On the newer versions like 109k this is standard 720p.
This is something changeable or is something related with the AMlogic kernel?
Can you help us with this change please )))))

No, and am not going to look into it because what really matters (aka video playback) is done at the proper resolution at kernel level. It's just Android's UI that is in 720p, and if you run games on it, you really wanna have half the pixels since the 450 MP2 is not suited for a 1080p resolution.
