    Pipo M6 Max

And now... a KitKat rom for M6max.

root, multi-user, init.d, oc kernels available

I don't know if there is one or two model of M6 max, mine have 2 nands and that's fine !

Be patient the flash process is special.

    As Randy wrote:

"Be sure to flash the loader.bin if you are coming from a JB ROM (it's checked by default).

On first boot, recovery will stay on the boot screen for a while...and you may notice the rear LED come on. Just be patient for a few minutes and let stock recovery do it's thing. After the partitions are formatted, the tablet will boot to system...again be patient on the first boot."

Edit by Randy: New Test ROM Available

    FreaktabROM v1.0.1

    Great news Slowry!!!!!

I don't have an M6, but I will download and take a look. Do I need to add any features?

I don't think so,I've put all the useful things... But I not a good ROM cooker, just a small dev !
Perhaps my google drive is not the best place for this file. (Still no access to FTP)

Someone report me a write problem to internal/external sdcard if you are not root.

I will investigate and probably I will make a new rom or a patch.

I edit this post because I read some horrible things !

The "no access to external storage" by default is a normal behaviour introduced with 4.4 and a common reported problem (I really don't know anything about KK ).
I think I can make a small patch to change this.

Wow, I wish I could have read what was said about the SD card problem. Charles, you might let us moderators know about these posts so we can read them and deal with those rude individuals.

Folks, there's NO EXCUSE for being rude here on Freaktab. We are all hobbyists, doing our best to make these Pipo tablets the best they can be. It's important for you to report your findings so we can improve the ROM's...especially in the first releases. Usually it only takes a few hours (or days, in this case) to make a correction.

I feel the same way about the SD card permissions problem in KitKat. I've ranted many times about how stupid an idea it was to keep people from using their devices as they should.

I have a fix for that problem...so I will make that change when I get the chance to. I meant to check out this ROM yesterday, but I got caught up in a "needle in a haystack" situation with another ROM...and simply ran out of time. For the sake of continuity, I'm packaging all of these Pipo Project ROM's with the usual RileyROM features and Pipo Project graphics (by Tattman65). I'm at the firehouse today, so when my work is done I will get back to ROM work this evening.

Again...please be patient. Slowry is new to our development team...and we need to support his efforts....otherwise he might choose to discontinue his work with us (I hope not, because his talents are greatly needed).

Thanks, this app should fix the well known problem, but it seems that it doesn't work with my build.

                              I will do the job...
