You can test this way : push the volume to max, poweroff, plug a headset and poweron.

Did you install some software or backups before testing sound ? If so, you have to do a factory reset and test the sound before any other install.

I tried reboot with volume to max and a headset plugged but didn't work. I test the sound with the rom recently installed. I installed this rom several times with the same result. The OC kernel doesn't work in my tablet. The sound works fine with Riley ROM 2.0.

            Pipo M6 Max

Have been using your ROM for more than a week. Am still very happy with it. Can't thank you enough. Your ROM gave my old M6MAX a new life. Next week I will try the 3g modem. I will report back.

By the way. Sound works normal on my machine. The speakers where never any good. But using headphones all is well.

            Cheers

                  [QUOTE=Slowry;281631]And now... a KitKat rom for M6max.

root, multi-user, init.d, oc kernels available

I don't know if there is one or two model of M6 max, mine have 2 nands and that's fine !

Be patient the flash process is special.

wow... the forgotten tablet has been resurrected!

                  well done!

hope to get some time to test it.

                  some questions about this rom:
                  1) there is the hotplug governor as is it on the m6 pro maakie's ones?
                  2) is the trim function already implemented on the kernel?
                  3) what compiler you have used for this rom?

                  thanks

Hi Slowri, can you make a 1.0.1 version of the ROM with updates and improvements made so far?

So the least experienced user can install the ROM without much trouble.

                      Hi mnunyez,

I'm not planning a new release for now.
I've found the wifi location problem in code and I hope to fix it for the 1.1 release.
In between, I have to rest my eyes a little (about one hundred of tablet flash in 3 weeks and much more hours of work).
So wait a little, If I can't fix the problem in few days I will make 1.01 version.

                      Muchas gracias para la cerveza

                        Health comes first!

No rush to the new version, was to facilitate installation to a novice user of HTCMania and is having problems with google services.

Take care of those eyes that the community needs you 100%

                        That unless some beers!

Firstly, thanks for your work, nice to have an update for this tablet.

                          I installed Freakromtabv1.0 and update1.zip.

Install was quick, maybe 5 mins I think, but I didn't realise it had finished as it ended up with the screen black (but backlight was on) and I thought it was still doing things, but pressed power button, screen went off fully and another press and there it was sitting at the lock screen.

So far so good, things seem to be working as they should.

The only thing I would comment on is that animations (window transitions etc) seem to be a little sluggish/jumpy, like watching something at a really low framerate.

Also, purely cosmetic but the initial loader screen has garbled pixels on the bottom third of the screen for some reason.

Where do you have downloaded "update1.zip" ?

Edit: Sorry, I have found in page 2 of this thread
