HI d33 I will download and test that Kernel for you and see if it boots. I will post results here. Yes the 4.22 rom works fine on my tablet. The problem with the KitKat version is I do not get any location but wifi and bluetooth work it is very bizarre. The m6 pro roms don't work at all. The kitkat rom would be my first choice, but running 4.2.2 max rom and everything is working, wifi, bluetooth, and gps.....

Hello Sir, I had flashed the ROM on my PIPO M6Max , I was using it properly but I noticed that my computer windows XP can no longer connect to the device after I flashed the ROM,I could however use the OTG function to connect other andriod phones to the Tab. I could also charge my Doogee X5 and Samsung S5 device using the tab via the OTG function.But after a few months, I could not longer use it to charge the devices and I cant even transfer files from the device to the Tab or from Tab to the device as the Tab no longer recognizes the Devices.Please what can I do to solve this problem?
I had used the OTG on my Samsung S5 and it could recognize the Doogee Device, in fact i had to buy a new OTG device as I felt maybe my initial OTG cable was faulty
because of this inability of my Tab to recognize any of the device and it doesn't recognize the Windows XP as well when I connect the tab to it using the OTG function as I felt maybe my initial OTG cable was faulty.
Kindly help me out please, as without this OTG function working properly the effectiveness of the Tab will be greatly reduced.Comment

Hi, I need some help with getting this to work. I bought a Pipo M6 Max last year and it has never really run that fast, it has Rileyrom installed onto it as the logo comes up when I boot it but I cant update it to version 2 or put any other FW on it.
I hook it up to the USB and run the ROM_Flash_Tool_137.exe file and it just says No Found RKAndroid rock usb.
I'm using windows 10, does this mean I cant do it?

good day every one. i've been using my M6 Max since 2012. i've been thru all rileyroms. until i eventually realized that the newer app makes the tab too laggy, like es explorer, fb etc. is that normal? i have yet to download this ROM. i hope Riley and the team still make newer ROMS for this ancient tab. cheers everyone.Comment

Ok sure it isn't flawless but I recommend you to reinstall the rom from time to time.. 6month, a year... it goes much better after that.
Regarding to new Roms... hehehe, I don´t think you can get much more of the GPU or the CPU..... The PowerVR GPU in this table is very old and they are not improving the code anymore

I flash my M6 and everything work OK. But, as someone wrote before, battery drain fast (probably OC kernel). Is it possible to have TURBO button in firmware, to set processor to less speed then 1641 Mhz as it was before (variable speed). OR how can I change processor speed? TNXComment

if you have root , with a Kernel Auditor or CPU App like no Frills ,
you can set down the clockspeed .
