        Nothing wrong at all. I am scripting everything to automate the process and remove human errors in building ROMs as I have MANY ROMs to do a 1.4 on. 10 G2 will be first of course

          Let's all remember that the 1.4 release is not down to Bob really, but in the hands of Will Jnr...
          and you KNOW what it's like waiting to get a piece of tech equipment back from a kid?

                Ok. So I searched in the BIOS, but, I only have 3 options related to USB :
                Enable USB
                Enable legacy USB
                Enable USB 2.0

                So I don't think my problem is here.

                I just tried to flash again. (with every button checked, except Backup).

                This time the Erase IDB step was OK.

                But when I tried to flash with the Run button, il failed while downloading the file.

                The last 3 lines say :

                INFO: Flash Start to download file to flash
                ERROR: Download file failed
                ERROR: Run failed

                Even after failing, I still have "Found RKAndroid Loader Rock Usb" at the bottom.

                I really don't know what to do now.

                  What version of windows are you running? If it is Vista or win7 right click on the RK flash tool and select Run As Administrator. See if that helps.

                  To me it seems you have some PC problem and the USB port is getting interupted by something.

                    Also you might try uninstalling the drivers or rolling back the drivers. YOu may have messed them up trying to reinstall them again.

                      I'm running win7 32 bits on my desktop and on my netbook.

                      I tried to launch the tool as administrator but it doesn't seem to help.

                      I will try to remove the drivers.

                        I tried suppressing the drivers.
                        Then upplugged the device.
                        Plugged it again and put in recovery mode.
                        Installed the drivers again.
                        Not better. The EraseIDB stage goes well, but it fails once again while trying to copy the files. Will try to get a new copy of the zip file. Maybe something is wrong with some file in it.

                          Try redownload v1.3 again
                          Mayby corrupt file

                            no more luck after a new download. Removed / installed the drivers to be sure.
                            EraseIDB works. But same error when downloading file.

                              I also tried to flash the original firmware with the RockChip Batch Tool v1.4. But it fails at the same stage : downloading firmware.

                                Sorry to hear this. Either your flash ROM chip has gone bad or you need to get on another PC. One of the two must be the problem.
