    Arnova 9 G2 Custom ROM by Finless V1.3 available!

    He guys we have setup a ROM forum where everyone that makes ROM can post ROMs. But we will also post a sticky in each tablet forum pointing to the specific ROMs! That way everyone can find what they are looking for!

    Anyway my new Arnova 9 G2 Version 1.3 ROM is now available!

    language of os

    Hello everybody.

    I'd like to flash Bob's ROM on my Arnova 9G2 and I can see in the language folder that only Chinese and English are available.
    Does that mean there will be no other language available for the Android OS once Rom flashed ?

    I would prefer my tablet to remain in French if possible.

      Those language choices are ONLY for the flash tool itself. It does not effect the available languages on the Tablet at all. You will have no changes to languages on the tablet from stock ROM to my ROM. They are the same.

              OK guys... sorry about that. Daman and I got the image screen flipped the wrong way.
              Does that tablet boot up in portrait or landscape normally?

              Daman instead of 768x1024 I bet it should have been 1024x768. Can you make another screen for me with that orientation and I will make a ROM in a few hours when I get home.

              Sorry guys... this is what happens when you don;t have the tablet to test on. We will get you guys fixed up soon!

                Possibly daft question

                I want to put the new rom on but I just don't get the instructions

                4) Slide the power switch to the locked Position.
                5) With a pin or other pointed object press the reset button.

                How do I put the power switch to the locked position on my 9 G2??

                          Sorry for the guys who have just flashed with the Arnova 9g2 firmware, we did not have a physical tablet to test and presumed that the tablet boot screen was in portrait with the Arnova branding been on the shortest side of the tablet. Dont worry about your tablet it is not broken or anything like that, just the boot screen was produced with the wrong orientation thats all. As Bob has said he will fix it with the new boot screen I have just produced. It is just a matter of re flashing with the new firmware.

                            I pulled the ROM from the site and am uploading the new one. Stay tuned. should be about 10 minutes more.

                            Again sorry for the issue.

                              OK so we got the boot screen orientation wrong on this release of the 9G2. Wont happen again

                              Very sorry to those of you that installed and ran into this. We do our best to make sure the ROM is correct but since we do not have a 9G2 it's impossible to test. I am building the ROM 100% with scripts so there should be no errors in the ROM code but things like a boot screen wrong can happen.

                              It's fixed. The new file name is
                              arnova9g2_v1_3a_market.zip
