Out with the family at present, should have the ROM available this evening.

If by factory reset you mean to stock firmware then you would need to reflash

Had a few problems tonight with my internet dropping, I have the ROM uploading now, hopefully the upload will complete and I can post the links etc in the morning.

Why a desperate thread? LOL Thanks for the update. Too bad I've just sold my archos cobalt this morning with the older version of your ROM. Will buy the Titanium version for the HDMI out function. Hope you cam support that one as well. Thanks again for the hard work

Corrected the spelling.

I'll happily support the titanium. I've been looking for the firmware for it for a while in case it will work on the cobalt.

There's an available rooted firmware floating around in this site. It's an update.img file inside kasty-titanium80-41-test1.zip. Looking forward a supersport version of it for the Titanium

Excellent news on the new Rom thanks.

I have downloaded the file but have so far resisted putting on.

Just a couple of questions, will I need to wipe everything if on the supersport 1.1 release or is there a way to do an upgrade in CWM ?

Thought I'd ask now so will backup everything if required.

Also presume the cifs mod works too as this was very useful.

I have checked unkown sources in parameters !

With an original ROM it works ^^

If you have screen adjuster installed, temporarily switch it off and then you can get to the install button.

I have got an idea to get jb onto this device.Can you use one of the jellybean or cynagen ROMs for other archos devices and change it so it is compatible with this tablet. Using a device similar to the cobalt would help.

Now that the Rockchip RK3066 Jelly Bean Kernel Source Code is available, it did make me wonder whether it would now be easier to make a JB ROM for the Cobalt?
