NEW - iMito MX1/2 - Finless ROM 1.7

Tried to flash my Imito today everything worked fun, but when i wanna boot my Imito now i just get the Boot Screen and after that it goes directly to a green Android with a Red Triangle is there a way to fix that?

I installed finless rom 1.7 but bluetooth doesn't work. Tried 1.7a and 1.7b with same result. I can't turn it on I had no problems with it on 1.5 though.
Anyone know the solution for this?

I like the auto hide feature. Just once in a while, I have the need to bring it back on. Not a big deal. I can always to switch back to home screen to bring it back.

For me this was a serious pain until I added mappings for HOME and MENU for my trackball/keybd device following this howto:

Sounds like its trying to boot to recovery. I got that after accidentally selecting reboot to recovery from that reboot app included in the ROM. Now that I have CWM installed, this is never an issue for me.

I was able to recover from that situation by unplugging the power for like > 5mins. Not sure if it was the amount of time I waited or if it was my nth reboot that brought it back to the normal boot cycle. I know I tried to reboot a whole lot and it didn't work until I had given up

I had started to look at shorting the pins to put it in download mode, and reflash, but fortunately it never came to that. Hope you are as lucky!

Anyone know of a kernel that I can OC with this device ? I have a UG802 and run 2Dark's OC kernel, but I didn't see such an option for these devices.

Did not work for me ;( when i connect the MX2 to my Windows PC with the OTG Cable it shows up as Unknown Android Device and when i want to add the Drivers included into the Rom Package "Windows could not find driver Software for your Device".

Anyone a idea what the problem is?

A question to Bob about tivizen and iMito 1.7

Hi Bob, first of all thank you very much for your work. I've got a MK802iiis and I've tested all the rom for this device and the ones you did for the iMito works pefectly and better than all the custom rom designed for that device.
I've tested your version 1.7a and it works much better than the b version on MK802iiis the only problem I've got is to let the rom works with the tivizen iplug device so i've back on iMito 1.5 (1080p version) where it works perfect.
So my question is there is a difference between the two rom in the way they interact with wifi? Because tivizen iplug create a local wifi network but with 1.7 i can find the device but i't won't connect.

I have tried several times to get my MX1 to reboot into flash mode without success with either .exe. I am booting from usb power to OTG port. I ensured debugging is off and usb is mass storage. And it fails everytime to get to flash mode. It says that it is rebooting, I get the black screen but tool says no device connected. When i use the ALT tool, I see the pink. click switch and it fails. I have been able to update by side loading with microsd. What else am I missing? Thanks in advance.

In order to boot on the flash mode start your device while pressing the button on the motherboard. This will make windows to found the device. Just put the drivers for your OS and then go back to the flash tool. Now is is going to say that it found the ...loader something. ( no need to reboot or anything). Just erase the NAND and then Flash it... It will take max 5 minutes and you are ready...
This is how I flashed my stick yestarday after many attempts to start the stick in flash mode as descripted on the bobs README.

How did you manage to get Finless running on the MK802IIIs? I've tried on many occasions and always get stuck at bootloop. I end up using the custom firmware from the Rikomagic forum (I HATE the mouse cursor for the 802, I much rather prefer the standard cursor found on finless)

Is there any way to hide permanently on screen keyboard? It pops up every time I write. I am using Logitech bluetooth keyboard.

i flashed the rom on my ug007II.
the rom works great.
but cwm is not workinig.
when i use the reboot app too recovery .
then the stick reboot but i get the droid with the ! mark.
with recovery must i use on this stick.

Stock recovery does that because it finds no update.img on sdcard.

You need to install CWM if that is what your looking for.
