If you want to make experiments with boot or any sensible partitions I suggest first intal cwm, make a backup, and then experiment.
thanks, I got it back up and running, I didn't have to wait for the usb a male cable as I was advice to use the same usb power cable as the otg usb cable to connect to the pc. I flashed the beta JB 4.22 and it's working great, so right now I'll do some more research and see how to install the cwm recovery before I do any other boot.img testing. I also would like to research on replacing the /data internal partition with a ext4 second partition on the sdcard (64gb is a lot for user files so that would be great if it could be done).
thanks again for your replies.

The 720p, 1080p kernels in .zip format, so you can easily switch resolution in CWM. I know this may cause problems with the boot image, but totally worth it as a way to switch from 720p to 1080p easily.Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
Retired Devices:
MiniMX III-II | Mk808b Pro | Mk808b Plus | Raspberry Pi 1 + 2 | UBOX R89 | MK808 | MK808b | CS008 | X1 4K (rk3288_809) | CYX_809III | Ouya | CX-919 | S82 Plus | Tronstmart R68

Hello,
The rom works great too.
I have some concern, my C270 logicool camera and mic will work flawlessly on my MK808B
if connected to OTG port not on the normal USB ports. Is this Normal?
Thank you

if you know cygwin a litle i can send you my scripts to pack unpack boot.img.
to swap sdcards you can edit /system/etc/vold.fstab
The scripts you provided me did not work in the first try I did with the first boot.img I extracted with the 'cat' command. It didn't work either with the second boot.img I extracted with the MK808B CWM Backup. So I am stuck at the moment. If you did swap the sdcards, how did you accomplished it ?
