Mac you have done what the chipset manufacture should have my hats off to the work you have put into this release. Very impressive. I am sure ugoos will adopt your fixes and being able to update as well wow. I don't know how many here will benifit from this but I for one am very happy to see this release I'll start testing on my Ugoos and mk902ii and post results Rockchip hang your head in shame and bow to Mac!Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

Would also like salute the companies, or their employees, that have the good sense to support Mac on his project.

I don't know what box your using and I have yet to try this rom. But in Ugoos' Linux version there is a menu item called "Ugoos Settings", if you are looking for screen scaling, it should be under that menu. As I said, not having tried it yet, I don't know for sure.

Can also use UGOOS Scaler but it's not present in the firmware.

If you experience performance problems in linux (like audio stuttering in Youtube or Kodi) you can try to set the cpu governor to performance:
open a terminal window:
$sudo su
root@ugoos:~# echo performance > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
This will set the cpu clock to maximum (but it does not enable overclocking).
So out of the box your RK3288-SOC cpu will then run at 1.8 GHz and will not switch down to lower frequencies.
