Low video performance on mk908 (jitters and stutter on HD videos)

To me it is impossible not to notice. I mean.. it´s not as though it´s playing video that´s completely unwatchable, but honestly even my slow-ass mk802-II plays netflix like a pro compared to the mk908 at the moment. Bob already figured out that it was an issue with how often the hdmi output updates itself rather than actual video jitter, so I have faith it will get figured out eventually. If my work benefits you and you want to help out the cause, feel free to

One more interesting thing is that, when I play the same video on Plex webpage in system default browser, all is smooth (but no full screen option). But when I use different browser (Opera as I remember) and play video on full screen, it gives me this "low fps effect".
I think this problem should be solved with highest priority because for most of us, stick was designed for watching movies. If there is anybody who dont see this "low fps effect" I can make video sample tonight.
Hope that somebody helps us to solve this issue.

I just got my MK908 from Geekbuying yesterday with Android 4.2.2 (may 28th) out of the box. I was shocked that it couldn't play even 720p, 2850 kbps, 23.976 fps, h.264 video without video jittering or low framerate...
Easiest way to notice it is to watch it side by side with my computer screen playing the same video.. I'm not sure that moving the mouse fixes it completely.
I've tried MX Player HW+/HW/SW rendering modes, BSPlayer HW, Diceplayer & GPlayer, but every player has the same problem.
Does T428 suffer from the same problem?Last edited by Anvi; 14 June 2013, 18:41.

I said it on another thread but it absolutely ridiculous these sticks can't handle video, there's more than enoughpower in the RK3188 for it. Letc just hope it's a software bug rather than a hardware problem.
