Sv: MK808 Non-B JB 4.2.2 Official - Finless ROM 2.1
Still on Finless eminent 1.7c rom. Runs like a charm. But of course I'm interested in upgrading to a newer rom and Android 4.2 . But are there really any noticeable benefits like better performance? I'm using it on an old 720p lcd tv mainly for Netflix and some other streaming services.
It's also a bit tricky to get to upgrade since I have to disconnect the mk808 from the TV to access it for flashing with my pc.
So thinking it has to be worth the hassle to upgrade

I followed your instruction to flash my MK808 non-B stick (in 4.2.2 stock firmware) and seemed successful, no error message. Unfortunately when connected to the 720P tv and booted. Nothing, not even the booting logo, only "Not Support" was displayed on the screen. I rebooted it several times still no luck. Finally I flashed it back with the 4.2.2 stock firmware (dl from Geekbuying) and restored the original state. It worked again.
I need advices to solve this problem, and try again, please help.
Thank you !

Finless 2.1 is set to output upscaled 1080p by default and it seems like your TV does not support this resolution. Either you find another TV where it works and set the resolution to 720p there or you have to choose another rom. Finless 2.1 is not that good anyway (of course because of the bad base rom, not because of Finless' work)

About the flashing:
Have you considered reading the readme file? ;-)

I had problems getting into flash mode with ROM_Flash_Tool_137 and alternate_reboot_to_flash_tool but I made it with paperclip method. then rom flash tool finnaly say "Found RKAndroid Mass Storage USB"
rom flashing done with no errors.... waited for couple of minutes and then disconected from usb and connected it to my tv... but... black screen again!
I will try one more time!

my second atempt of flashing
again rom flash tool didn't recognise my stick but when I use paperclip method it says "found RKAndroid loader rock usb" not "Found RKAndroid Mass Storage USB"
when I click "Reboot to Flash Mode" it says "device can not do a flash mode because it is not msc device!"
I asume that I'm not in mass storage mode and I can't change that because I can not enter the system!
