Ouya or minix versions are the best. You should also update your libstagefright.so file for decent hardware decoding.

Finless 2.1 is not that good anyway (of course because of the bad base rom, not because of Finless' work )
        Thank you !

Do you think Finless 1.7 will worked on my TV (720P)?
If "Yes" could i flash 1.7 on my MK808 with 4.2.2 stock firmware?
In your reply you said: "you have to choose another rom" will you please suggest a rom work s for my 720P TV.

        Please help !

I think all other roms will work, including Finless 1.7. When flashing with the flash tool, your nand is erased, so you can flash any rom that is flashable with the flash tool.

Is it a kernel's stetup, no?

There is no a way to patch to defalt output 720p?

Anyone know if there is a kernel source that I can use in mk808 for android 4.2.2?

              Sorry about my bad english...

I'm looking to use this rom to stream media from XBMC, mainly from addons like icefilms, and the like. Is there a recommended version of XBMC that can handle 720p media without being a stuttering mess?

You probably should test your download speed ... if you don't have enough throughput... nothing you do on your MK808 will make a difference

My MK808b fake/clone had no problem streaming 720p as long as I picked a good server to stream from.

My connection is fine, it's not buffering, the video is either frozen, for a couple of seconds, then plays another frame & freezes or just won't play at all. I have other boxes that these links work perfectly on but apparently not on the MK808. What XBMC distro are you using?

What do you consider "perfectly fine"? What is your internet download speed?

I've used several, the normal XBMC releases since 12.1 ( ie Frodo and several of the alpha Gotham builds ), SBMC and currently I use justXBMC.

                        perfect fine is ~D15Mb/s - U2Mb/s again, buffering/downloading isn't the problem.

That should be fine... When I had my MK808b ( really it isn't one... it has the AP6210 chipset and not a RK903 ) connected ( just got a quad core QX1 Thursday so I'm playing with it now )... anyway... I was getting between 8Mbps ( worst ) up to 12Mbps ( best with rare ~15's here and there ) download speeds.

The vid's were smooth when I could find a decent server to stream them from. In some instances, even the good servers were overloaded and I had to try several in order to get a good smooth stream. I guess, the only suggestion you can take from that is to try all of the servers just to make certain you are getting a good one and try them at different times of day just in case to help ensure it isn't a time they are being overloaded.

If you haven't added an "advancedsettings.xml" file to your user data folder yet... try some of the examples given in the XBMC section of the forum. Please note that some of the settings suggested can also make it worse in certain cases. Unfortunately I'm not experienced enough with these to make any worthwhile suggestions but there are others that can.

The main issue I had with the various builds... weren't performance issues. As examples... on the Gotham alpha builds... they'd often crash ( either to the desktop or reboot my system ) so I'd stay away from them for now even though they do have hardware acceleration built in. That would leave some of the custom builds like SBMC or justXBMC as a couple of examples. I prefer to use the built in player... but XAF is also an option that you can use an external player like MX in case you prefer one.

I think that will help get you started... and I think we've taken this thread ( about a ROM ) off topic enough for issues that appear to be XBMC related instead... There are enough examples in this and other threads using Finless ROM's to show that few are having the same issue you seem to be having ... indicating it isn't a ROM issue but something else.

use ethernet usb, wifi crapy on these devices. 1080P works without stuttering too with tweaked kernel i use kernel720_cpu1416_gpu466_ddr533 its up scaled 1080p but it works.
