    Video remains outstanding.
    Ping times have improved noticeably.

Although wifi is still throttled, playback from NAS is feasible without much buffering. On Navi-X, things are more difficult..

Hi I Flashed the kernel <DELETED> on a CX-919 wifi does not work and neither did the BT did not even detect it the stick. I have installed the version "CX-919 4.2.2 - Finless ROM 1.4".

Of course you know what version of XBMC works well with this stick in all test versions that I stop working the second restart plugins updates can not install new plugins repositories through the application installed.

Please to test wifi on mk908 copy a big file over local network and measure with the clock.

With this test compare old and new kernel on wich rom you want.

make a test also with this.

with T428 we don't have any problems. but thanks. these results are excellent.

please also a test on kernel 3 for mk908. very helpful your test

also the negative kernels can help me to undestand. don't warry.

in this thread you are doing experiments. when we have the final version we will publish in a separate thread.

                  for t428 owner:
for the t428 the kernel strauzo_video_bluetooth_standby is 8/10 in all and is good. confirm ?

                    On MK908:

                    1. kernel test 3 produces a garbled boot screen. Device doesn't boot all the way.

                    2. kernel test 2 has slower wif fi than kernel test 1:

Transferring a 220mb file via ES File Explorer on a 55 mbps local network:

                    kernel 2 = 10.6 minutes
                    kernel 1 - 9.2 minutes

Guys hold on with testing that wifi speed.

On my cx-919 Bob's 4.2.2 I get like max 2MB/s with all kernels.

Now I've rolled back to Bob's 4.1.1 and I see speeds up to 3.5MB/s

Going to check if your kernel runs on 4.1.1

                          Hi,
First thank you strauzo for your firmware.

I installed yesterday on my CX 919 your firmware (mk908-strauzo-kernel-08.07-2013#10.rar) on a Finless 1.4 4.2.2 ROM.

The video playback is pretty smooth now, exept still some lags (video in my SD card or USB storage) on 720p and 1080p on MX player, maybe i need to change for a better media player ?)

The BT work good. The wifi is connected (i see 54MBPS) but like Zahir, the speed is very very slow now, 5 hours for downloading an application (2~5 ko/sec), so i can't use Youtube too. Sometime, the Wifi look really good (300ko/sec) but for 2 minutes only and dropped very fast subsequently.

The CX919 doesn't heat so much, even when i play a 720p video, a really good point.

Thanks you again for your work, and if you need more information or test some kernel, i'm here.

The problem child in the RK3188 family is the MK908. This is now clear.

                              Strauzo, guess what.

Testing it on 4.1.1 and I get 3.5MB/s with your and the original kernel.
The only thing that is missing with your kernel in 4.1.1 is the screen setting so now the image is too big for my screen.

Yes, I couldn't detect salient differences, although I was concentrating on wifi comparisons. Both kernels were very smooth, although not smoother than yesterday's.

By the way, since there is no clear winner for the mk908 today, and one 'loser' (test 3), I am reverting to your original (mk908-kernel).
