And this is interesting because it is flashable? Something to build on?

      Signature? Signature!

Android Mini PC's wont see 4.3 til at least 12 months after official release. We are just now beginning to see devices based on 4.2.2 lol and rockchip will have to create a whole new sdk. 4.3 is primarily for bug fixes with little new additions, it will really be exciting when we see a device running key lime pie.

Because its the latest Stock version of Android. A ROM could be designed and ported from it that has all the latest features. It is not flashable. Its just something for the devs to poke around at.

Not trying to justify anyone, but in my sony xperia S I just recived 4.1.2 some weeks ago, and I don't know if I will recieve 4.2.

I agree with a lot of people that
Rockchip is not doing all the things well. But sometimes we demonized them so easy.

They got cheaps devices with a relative good performance, with some bigs bug, agree on that, but some of them can be solved, like Strauzo did with video (waiting yet to test his results, cause qx1 is not suported by him) and some of those bugs will be fixed in future roms.

I am not agree with them about not release sources, not support external developers, etc... But i had 4.2 in my 35€ mk808b(rk903) before I got 4.1 in my 500€ Sony Xperia S.

in this moment to test i attached the tv stick to my pc and i don't see mount point.

i can only if i start moborobo or via adb can copy files.

are you sure you're using my alpha 2 rom ?
I have the same problem - the stick goes into USB storage mode

I have been able to test however and whilst all features look great it still doesn't work with my bluetooth airmouse

                Screem zoom AlPHA 2

My most sincere greeting to strauzo by the huge job you do if these updates would deserve our stick not worth buying.I have a CX-919 and I've tried on the ALPHA 2 and I have to say it works all very well but there are some problems that I have:
I can not adjust the screen zoom screem that I have for both toolbars are not complete and the screen is cut off on the sides. In settings I can not change anything in the HDMI option not know if this is because of the kernel or my TV but I've never had a problem with esto.Tambien I miss a button on the toolbar to hide it. Finally when I write I do not get the typical keyboard that appears in other rom or any android device.
The kernel es auto fit MK908 strauzo.

Disclaimer: I realize this ROM is in early stage and buggy.
I tried the suggest ROM and could not adjust any Screen options in settings. I could not resize the screen and the bottom buttons were off the screen. It would not respond to resolution change either for HDMI. (unuseable) It also felt to much like a phone brand ROM.
Also , could not get the Anker bluetooth mini keyboard / mouse to completely pair. (Stock ROM pairs)

This was a deal breaker for me.

I can't mount my 64GB exFAT formatted SDXC card on this image. The Paragon Driver can recognise it but it's functionality is limited to OEM devs

Any idea what to add to get exFAT support?

Running new Nexus rom on my T428
                          Findings so far :

                          - fast, very fast
                          - wifi: fast (2500 Kb/s, this is with a little hardware modification)
                          - bluetooth : not tested yet
                          - infrared keyboard works like a charm
                          - Video playback : very good, stuttering sometimes but maybe it's the player (any suggestions?)
                          - can't adjust the resolution but after putting my tv on scan everthing was just fine :-)
                          - ...

Overall i'm verry happy with this version, can't wait to see where this one goes after completion

                          thx a lot strauzo

                            new to flashing and tweaking

hello freaktab community, i've been watching these forums with great interest even prior to my purchase of the CX-919. i have to say i was thoroughly disappointed when i first got the device and saw what lack of functionality it had! for having such fantastic specs it just seemed too promising to pass up. but we are here now, and some major breakthroughs have been made.

Strauzo and FBob, great work. i will be sending a donation soon.

here are my tests and results on the CX-919:
#1 Finless 1.4 4.2.2: wifi worked great, everything was good, 1080p was playable but not watchable for me.

#2 Strauzo t428 nexus: video was a great improvement, nothing else worked but i wasn't expecting it to with the kernal and rom for the t428

#3 strauzo sdk2 alpha-2 kernal with finless 1.4 rom: videos were almost perfect still some minor playback issues, not sure if they were frame skipping or what but it was almost there.

#4 strauzo sdk2 alpha-2: seemingly perfect video playback. can't wait until this fix is worked into the rest of the 3188 kernals and roms. 1080p screen resolution and scaling worked for me.

I suggest to use DroidMote and don't lose time and money with external input chinese devices.

I use DroidMote with all my android devices attached to the Tv via hdmi. And i'm very very happy with it. Specially because i have also a very good multi-touch touchpad that work well with two fingers for apps like google maps, google earth. The mouse is very fast and stable and i can play also with all android games.

In this page http://www.videomap.it/dmcguide.htm you can read how many things you can do with DroidMote.
