Does the built-in rKVideoplayer play 10-bit videos?

Do you perhaps have a 720p display as the ROM is set up for 1080p by default?
Then I can just make a new kernel that supports 720p.
I am using 1080p TV, seems that there is not any singal out from box with 1.4 firmware (my TV could show the info if there is singal).
with 1.3 firmware, neither rkplayer nor kodi could play h265 10bit.
But your kodi 16 beta5 that linked in 1.3 fireware works perfect with h265 10bit(via NFS) on "Wasser Firmware for Beelink R89 3.0.3".

Regarding the new ROM v1.4 the only thing that I am missing so far is the root capability. I even try Nagrace simple way to root their devices using Calculator and typing !^06^ without success.

How can we enable root on your ROM?
On the previous version v1.3 it was ok.

Thanks and keep keep up the good work.

        For Rooting
Go to 'Android Settings' - 'Accessibility Options'
There you can enable or disable 'Root'

              You can try.

I know screencasting and mirroring apps need root to work, maybe it's the same for Teamviewer?
I already reported the Teamviewer problem to Rockchip so they will probably look at it and do tests.
Otherwise it might be a Lollipop problem as it worked on Kitkat.
Xposed framework also doesn't work on Lollipop but work on Kitkat and Marshmallow, so Lollipop definitely has some compatibility problems with these advanced apps.
There was an app similar to Teamviewer but with more fuctions and it worked on Rockchip Lollipop firmware, I'll try to find out the name.

I think the best setting is 0.250s forward.
Then set it as 'Global for all videos' to retain the setting upon reboot.

In the new SPMC there is a setting, sync video to display.
With that I haven't noticed any out of sync audio.
But with that setting pass-through audio has to be disabled, so if you only use stereo or tv speakers that will work great.
But that setting is not currently in my NTMC 16 build only in SPMC.
(It was a bugfix for Android Kodi already in Sep 2015 and never included in Kodi, even Koying was very surprised and said it is things like that that show other Kodi members don't care a lot about Android support)

There is also a way to force the 0.250s delay when Kodi(NTMC) first starts automatically but I haven't found a way to make it work yet.

So we will have to wait for Rockchip's SPMC build that has that setting and to make use of the other HD Audio improvements already in SPMC.

It is the non HDMI-IN version but also work on the HDMI-IN device.
For people that want to go back to the HDMI-IN firmware after flashing other firmwares, here is the link

I will release the HDMI-IN version next week and also fix the remaining bugs.
Can report any bugs here and also try to open a bug report on my site with a catlog here.

Thanks.. Would love to try it. What's the unzip password?

What's the best way to root.. Iv'e looked. I thought this Rom would have been pre-rooted.

                              Everything working on TV01II RK3288 EXCEPT;
                              1.) Main Power light
                              2.) Seems extreemly slow.
                              3.) IR doesn't work

To root go to 'Android Settings' then 'Accessibility Options' then you can enable or disable Root there.
It is much better than pre-rooted because some people use streaming apps that don't work with rooted ROM's then they can switch it off and for apps that require root, you can enable it again.

On non-HPH or Ugoos devices the power light and IR won't work.
You have to swap your resource.img & kernel.img from your manufacturer's stock firmware but then loose some optimizations and Lehome assistant support.
Even on other RK3288 devices people will have a different experience with the ROM because of slower RAM/EMMC storage etc.
On HPH and Ugoos hardware the ROM is extremely fast and gets over 50000+ Antutu score.

I put a password on the file because lots of people just post other people's things on the internet and then don't show where it originally comes from.
