Hi Mo,
i have a UT3,maybe i understood something wrong,i thought the Firmware has no HDMI IN App. (to plug in a Tablet & show the Screen of the Tablet)
Because the UT3 has this Function.I am still on 2.2.0 KK Rom.
Is this correct Mo ???

For HDMI-In you need an HPH RK3288 HDMI-IN(with PVR, PIP support, latest version) or UT3(view only) o UT3+(with PVR & PIP support)
I removed the HDMI-IN app as some users that have non HDMI-IN devices will try to use the app and it won't work.
They are working on a new HDMI-IN Lollipop firmware, basically it's only the HDMI-IN app and the drivers in the kernel and some small changes to the system.img that needs to be made to get the HDMI-IN working. it worked good on Kitkat but on Lollipop there were some problems recording certain resolutions and audio, so they are fixing that.
When it's finished, I will make a single firmware that works on both HPH and Ugoos devices with and without HDMI-IN.

i will give your non HDMI IN Version a try,because i really dont use it,but nice to have,if it works.

Good Luck fixing the Bugs & Stutterproblems on RK3288.It looks like,that WIFI 5 GHZ,make the Problems.
Always with WIFI ON i have Stutters in Audio & Video (Stockplayers) without nothing.(every 5.1 Rom i tested)

i tried your 1.4 on my UT3 but it didn't work only Blackscreen,i tried Restore & Upgrade.

Please try 'EraseFlash'
Then Upgrade'
Shouldn't use Restore



If using a 4K tv, try to use a 1080p HDMI port.
The kernel is set to 1080p by default.
If using a 720p display, that might be the problem as it tries to do 1080p that is then not supported.
I can also upload a 720p kernel to flash later, that might fix your black screen problem.

And dont forget to use the loader from the Ugoos rom (or device)that your using to port from loader/kernel/resource 😁

i had the same problem on RK902II
then i
- erased flash
- restore 1.3v and wait to boot fully
- then 1.4v upgrade

other ways to flash didn't get me no success

Please try flashing with the Android Tool v2.35 in the opening post.
The batchtool v1.7 doesn't work correct with latest bootloaders, i wouldn't recommend it.
When you 'Erseflash' and 'Upgrade' flash single image file like my firmware, the correct bootloader, V2.19.10(395KB) is reflashed.
There are other bootloaders also v2.19.10 but filesize is smaller and it will cause problems as the drivers are older inside those bootloaders.
If still not booting, do 'EraseFlash' again and flash v1.3 firmware again and then 'Upgrade' afterwards for v1.4.

i will give it a try but first i must download your Roms new.
At the Moment i test Wasser 3.0.4a.I am from Germany and he has real nice german Translations.
But always if Wifi is turned on there are Stutters in Audio & Video,as in every 5.1 i tested.
What about your Gamepad Support will it be possible to use Ps3 Controller native like in KK.
I report when i test it.

I did add PS3 support but maybe you will need *.kl keyboard file also to remap the keys.
I can add it later if there are problems.
Xbox 360 controllers work and I use that.
For stutters try to use this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...mediarescanner and go to MediaStorage and disable that background service.

i flashed your 1.4 with AT 2.35 and all went good the FW booted.Nice Rom not bad,but there a the same Problems as on every LP Rom i tested.
Nice that you added SIM Card Support,but it did not work for me and my 3g Modem (no 3g bars in Statusbar no Networksearch).
Stutters and Hicks in System using,like nearly every 5.1 Rom i tested.Same with Audio & Video,Stutters with Wifi on,nothing with Wifi off.
Translations to German not complete,as on every other Rom,and i tested the App you linked did not help.

What about xposed installer is it really a 5.1 Rom all Flashtools always showing 5.0.0.0.Maybe it is better to test the
5.0 Version maybe it works.Chinese often fake Specs we all know.

Hope that all this Bugs can be fixed.

Hi, what 3G modem are you using?
I can then just check if there are drivers for it.

What videos are you using that produce stutters?
23.976 fps? bit-rate, codec, file size etc.
Can you give same samples or are their some videos here that also stutter - http://kodi.wiki/view/Samples
What video players are you testing with?
If using NTMC try to enable or disable auto framerate switching and sync to display or sync display to video.
What tv/display are you using, is it set to 'auto' resolution or 1080p@60hz?

For the German translation, if it's not too much trouble
you can make a small spreadsheet with the Android strings and app string names in English, what it is currently in German and what the best translation in German should be.
If something like this can be made, I can send it to Rockchip so it can be included in all future firmwares.
If it's only a few I can also fix it myself.

Xposed installer doesn't work on Lollipop 5.1 RK3288/RK3368.
Users have managed to make it work on beta Marshmallow firmware for RK3288/RK3368.
So in a few months when stable Marshmallow firmware is released it will then work.

The flash tools reporting Android 5.0.0, it's just a string correction, I'll just correct it.
From the Firefly SDK, it shows 5.1 changes have been merged, so it is definitely Android 5.1

Please list any other bugs you find.
I will work on a new custom firmware again next week after receiving some new patches and suggestions.

My Testvideos are : Costa Rica in 4K.mp4 / Metal Gear Solid V-the Phantom Pain 4K 60FPS.mp4 / HD Test 1080p Full HD (Avatar)_Full-HD.mp4 / Netflix 23976 fps test footage_HD.mp4 / with Stockplayers RK VP & GVP / downloaded with TubeMate 1920/1080 30p ??? with Cube T7

I can make Catlog Logs while testing will this help or not???

Yes, catlogs will also help but restart everytime when testing a new video, so new catlog for every video.
But maybe about 3 videos will be enough.
Also try to get a NTMC log for playing the videos.

Pipo ROMs are Marshmallow not Lollipop that's why it's working.
I don't know what's different in Wasser firmware but I can't just use frameworks as my firmware has extra settings in Android Settings.
I will see if it can be added in the future.
