I was talking about the s905 boxes lacking a lot of usb gamepad drivers. I originally bought this box for some retrogaming on the go but since it did't recognise most of the gamepads i own it was a real P.I.T.A
so if this custom rom has the drivers added to the kernel that would be a big deal for me. Thnx for everything guys

I guess I've just bricked my box. I've tried to upload the image but it stuck on 2%.
Is my box dead or there is a way to fix this?

Neomode wifi issues with MXQ pro 4k.


Steps that has been taken so far:


1.) downloaded "8188eu.ko" file onto usb drive.
2.) using Root explorer changed my directories permission to read/write >
3.) Removed the "8723bs.ko" file.
4.) Placed the "8188eu.ko" file into the following directory

• system/lib

5.) Renamed "8188eu.ko" file to "8723bs.ko"
6.) Changed "8723bs.ko" files permission to chmod to 644
7.) Rebooted my MXQ Pro 4k device.

My wifi networks are now populating but I am not able to connect to my network.

Error msg: "Password is not valid"

ALREADYVERIFIED THAT I AM USING MY CORRECT WIFI PASSWORD.
I was trying to connect to my 2.4 ghz wifi network when I received that error msg

My 5 ghz option isn't disabled and doesn't show up on the list even if I wanted to select it.

Is there a method to at-least connect via Ethernet until the wifi issue has been resolved?

MXQ Pro does not support 5ghz network.

No, Ethernet will not work with this ROM. You will have to use another ROM.

Thanks but just like the rest out there it only sees my wifi one time then after reboot never sees it again the only update that seems to remembers my wifi card is this one https://yadi.sk/d/rcaXXQlOs5aXB
but every thing else about the rom is horribly slow any ideas on how to take the wifi from that rom and add it to one that works
like this one i hear this one has great usb game pad support

I just provided you the kernel modules for all gamepads available from the kernel source. You just need to load in with insmod to make your gamepad run.

The wifi ko file is in system/lib copy that and follow the instruction from #277
