Hi,

Maybe a noob question, but I'm also having the Wifi problem (My remote also doesn't work btw!).

But how do I replace that certain file? The folder is read-only and there doesn't seem to be an option to enable root.
Do I still need to root my device? Or is there an option to enable root? Is there a certain file-browser I have to use? (One that is installed, since the playstore is not available without Wifi.)

The ROM is rooted without super SU app.
use x file explorer to replace it after you change his settings to use root and r/w.

Then you can do what you want.

Hey neomode do you have a rom that works with 8188 etv wifi chip the only recovery i can find that the wifi works and works again after reboot is this one https://yadi.sk/d/rcaXXQlOs5aXB
but the rest of it sucks the apps take for ever to open and then they just close out but the wifi is exactly how would i take the wifi driver from this folder and add it to a good working rom
that works great aside from having no wif
or is there a way you can clean this rom up and make it fast

i want to install this on my new mk808b pro and i need some instruction. I have experience flashing roms on android phones but it seems different here. What steps do i need? Also does this rom stop home button from killing app when pressed? so annoying lol. Thanks

Someone had problem with Dolby 5.1 ac3 audio?
When I play a film with kodi which have ac3 5.1 audio it "glitch" every 10-20 seconds.
If I play the same film with a player on smart tv it works fine.
I changed a lot of settings in kodi but always the same problem.
Can be a missing codec on Android tv box?

neomode I don't think anyone has mentioned but the HDMI Virtual Switch does not work, checking the 'state' file the value never changes from '1' This is on the MXQ Pro (201) box.

Hi,

A few posts back, I think I saw a workaround related to replacing the .ko module of the wifi to make this ROM work.

Also, I found a modified version of this ROM here:

This one already has the correct driver, and it works!
