NEOMODE CUSTOM ROM MK808B PRO S905 & MXQ PRO S905

I have read the entire thread and i am 99% sure that this neomode firmware MK808B_PRO_S905_NCR_15_1_20160506 will work on my mxq pro.
my mxq box is not a 4k or quick. the text on the top is "MXQ PRO" currently i am running version aosp on p200. p200-userdebug 5.1.1 LMY47V 20151226 test-keys.
Before flashing it with usb tool, i really would appreciate if someone could confirm that neomode version will work on my box.
Do i have to backup any keys, or will the neomode version also have test key?
Are the neomode version rooted?
And finally is it better then the stock version?

Just FWIW, I have an MXQ Pro, S905 with 8189ETV wifi chip. Board is marked

Date: 151021.

I accidentally bricked it and tried this firmware. Where others would not load using the USB Burn Tool, this one did. The WIFI however does not work.

Since I was able to flash using your firmware and my box was resurrected, I was able to flash with "stock" firmware from:

which does run all the hardware, including the remote.

Like other stock firmwares though, this one has issues. The biggest is that the Google Play store does not work right and some apps that I know will work are flagged in Play as not for the version of Android on the box. I have to sideload apps. That and the MBOX launcher is silly and I have to use Nova Launcher.

Perhaps you could use this firmware as a basis for a new build for S905 RTL8189 boxes.

Just want to share my experiences.......

I have version mxq pro. Not quickplay, not 4k. Only pro.
On the circuit board is written "cs_905mxq_v1.0 2015-09-19" it is a p200 version.
wifichip rtl8189etv.

I used burning tool and flashed the "MK808B_PRO_S905_NCR_15_1_20160506.img" and i also tried "MK808B_PRO_S905_NCR_15_1_20160506_with_autorefres h_rate_switch.img"

Both version booted very fine but wifi and remote control didn´t work.
From reading this fine forum, i knew that remote had isuuse. But i was suprised that wifi didn´t work.
I thought it was on the p201 that the wifi didn´t work.
So i have flashed this version "MXQpro_905_gongban20161202" and that work very well.

Hoping support for the internal ethernet on the OTTO MXQ Pro 4k Get's support as even with USB ethernet and even a powered usb ethernet i can't seem to figure out to get it not to freeze up after plugging it in. So support would be the only way would def donate if this worked for me

Just a quick though and guess guess as I'm reading through... Maybe there is a problem with your USB Ethernet hardware!? Can you possibly try another??

I've already tried changing the channel on my router.

change the settings in your router regarding channel width .... i.e. that 20mb 40mb so called fat channel stuff. you may need to allow legacy connections or something to that effect.
