Anyway on version 17.0 Beta 5 everything is ok, so far no problem, doesnt kick to home screeen.

As of my problem with network speed and playing from NAS. I modified buffers size via build.prop and it is not helped. Once again, symptom is: buffering; network throughput is just not enough. If I press o in kodi, I can see there is no any drops, just buffer size goes to zero and it starts buffering. Then I tried to mount nfs folder and play from here. Doesn't help at all as well.
(For those who will want test this, 2 hints for you to not waste a lot of time: 1) mount folder using busybox, like "busybox mount -t nfs ...; 2) install latest supersu and mount then from non-privileged shell with command "su --mount-master -c busybox mount ..." Answers why are in Google)

But, later on I succeed with playing this 30 gig file flawlessly using upnp protocol! So I'm almost solved my issue

I would bump up the buffers if you havent all ready. I run 1080p fine with good buffers. see kodi wiki

Added xspossed to the latest update, made some changes to build.prop and added/removed some apks. Going to add proper supersu and maybe go systemless for both xspossed and supersu in next update.
If any one wants to test unpack and install with the tool.

Edit fixed access so that any one can grab with out the need to login. Thought i did it right

netflix still no work with the version I added and 3c toolbox xspossed module crashes boo. But did pimp and add nav bar using the Xstana mod and added full date/day to the status bar using the status bar [text] mod.

i have this tv box. From factry had firmware 20160918. I think is the same from geekbuying web. Is this frimwre, that you posted, same from geekbuying with xposed add?
there are a module for xposed you can write into the sd card/usb. I'm interesting in this module

Yeah I think it was. You can install any module you want once the firmware is installed.

One more question. What recovery do have it? could you put in a cwm or tprw recovery?

I dont think any of these recoveries have been released for R-Box Pro so far and we only have the pre-installed factory recovery from mfr.
If anyone else can find the above requested then please provide us the link, I'd love to jump on those also.

Trebor, visual wise, is their much difference in gaming between 905x gpu and 912 gpu? I use 905x on 47 inch 1080 tv and modern combat is very poor with low res grafics. Thanks

Using Antutu or 3Dmark for testing they sorta appear(what I see visually) the same, using a 32 TV for testing,

With November 11 sales soon in China you may find a 912 Unit on sale and Black Friday sales also
Best bet if you're serious about games Shield maybe be the answer.
