Sunvell T95U - PRO Android 6.0 TV Box

Evening all. Im after advice if possible.

I have recently purchased this device. But I have noticed that when I'm watching live feeds via kodi. My playback seems stuttery.
Iv played about with HW acceleration and still no joy.
Also I have done a bit of research on android 6.
From what I have read apparently Amcodec does not work with android 6. And causes kodi to stop working.

If any of u can advise me on my settings to try and stop this stuttery playback it would be much appreciated.

if you are on kodi 16.1 may have update to 17 currently at beta 5 it seems to work ok and supports android 5.1 and up

The only issue I have with updating to Krypton at present is that the current service I use to watch live events etc. Is not compatible with Krypton as of yet.

you might want to try spmc 16.1.1 see if that works any better or maybe just have to wait till the addon updates to krypton.................find the addon author on twitter and bitch.................

and bad thing.......there is stutter on kodi passthrough dts

i update box by usb stick (T5UPO005 ), now no problem

and on sound settings, dolby sounds added, i choosed drc mode-line, and there is rf too, but i got no idea bout these

Box arrived today, nice and small love the on/off button coming from m8s seems fast speed test had it clocking 118mbps over 70 m8s same connection! Fully loaded which I hate so time to clean it up. System clean up shows 42% memory in use seems high ?

There is a firmware link up, download to a usb stick and use update app on box

what size SD card is OK ? my 16gb with unzipped firmware came up with an error with update app ! unzipped files ready to go so miffed - didn't flash anything still boots up with original FW.

USB stick better than SD card or no difference I know some boxes are iffy with certain storage

No issue even with v2 for playback, watched Westworld on exodus and live cricket on elite (paid itpv) not a stutter or glitch !

Im also using paid service within kodi.
Are u using SPMC or KODI?

Also does anyone else have the same issue as me within kodi settings? If Amcodec Hardware acceleration is enabled when I close it. I have a message saying kodi has stopped working. Therefore I have to disable it for kodi to work properly.

Yeah I'd copied the t95 folder over and it needed the files completely taking out lol - my elite is app or kodi not used kodi with it but exodus works fine just removed kodi that came with it and all the junk ! Reinstalled fresh kodi 16.1
