      It flashes fine.

During the building of the apps there will be prompts come up.

1 for the google play store stopping working and one for allow or deny google to regularly check for security problems.

You will need to clear each prompt for the process to complete.

I'll debloat the firmware and create a cleaner one later.

Here is a debloated version, de-illegalised and safe for the children.

Completely clean Kodi install and removed the Kodi Center option (even though it still stays as part of the launcher).

        Removed all the TV apps.

Added Reboot, ES File Explorer, regular Youtube and Nova Launcher apps.

Just has the 1 prompt coming up now to clear from the the app building process.

Can someone list the Antutu score and RAM, storage benchmarks or is it already posted in a different thread?
          The Dolamee has Realtek wifi.

I just received a Nagrace HPH NTN8 RK3229 and it would be nice to compare different RK3229 devices.
It has Broadcom AP6212/AP6335 wifi, 1/8GB or 2/16GB depending on what you want.
4 USB Ports and exposed IR Receiver with great range, much better than on RK3288/RK3368 that I've seen.

What are the current problems/features still missing on RK3229 devices?

There is an animated gif and a download link to some screenshots I took of various benchmark tests here, as well as a roundup of my initial impressions.

I can't quite see what has specifically changed in this new firmware but I have found that the version of Kodi bundled no longer works correctly with many 4k videos when the Rockchip accelerated codec is on.

Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the stock ROM, so anybody can point me in the direction of it I can extract the version of Kodi that was in that and test it with this one.

Failing that, if anybody can backup the APK for me I can install that and test.

I just got one of these devices and am impressed so far considering the price point.

I am new to Freaktab, but no noob to Android. I am however unfamiliar with Android Boxes (except a Nexus player and a car head unit which ran off a rk box)

I'm hoping someone can direct me towards a link/info regarding a custom recovery. Preferably a twrp which is compatible with LP devices, and how to go about installing. I am fully capable of command line installations, with instruction of course but obviously a custom recovery simplifies things.

From my initial findings, it appears the recoveries are universal by chipset?

This is my first post on FT, and hope not be flamed too hard

Anyways, would like to be part of testing and could potentially contribute some things once I become familiar with the hardware.

Please and thank you in advance.

I've been trying a couple of TWRP images myself this afternoon, although neither would mount the partitions correctly.

I'll let you know if I find one.

If you are on the supplied stock firmware, can you do me a favour and backup the Kodi apk and upload it somewhere?

This is a free app that I find useful.

But this is not the MXQ device.... do you own the Dolamee D5 and know for sure the bootloader is locked?
