I ordered a cable already, they are not available at my local store
I ran a batch backup, only 50 apps, and then fell asleep lol

I realise now that I sound a bit inexperienced right now with trying to find workarounds for doing things the correct way. I'm going to try to use To and see what happens.

UknowEtheG with androidtool 2.3 you can make a dump of the individual partitions or a dump of the entire nand, or nand minus userdata. There is a tool called rockchipdumpsplit, http://freaktab.com/forum/developmen...ckchip-devices. You can drag a full nand image or other images that contain multiple partitions into the tool, and the tool creates an image of every individual partition including a parameter file and a config file. You can load the config file in several batchtools and it will read where every partition should be located and then flash it that way. Somewhere in the thread there is even a misc.img which you can use to create a nice factory reset backup that even resizes partitions which you can edit in the parameter file. Also rockchipdumpsplit can remove gaps in between of partitions. Somewhere in the thread there was also a tool mentioned to create 1 update.img from the individual partitions that you want to flash, forgot the name now, don't blame me for that i'm not that far yet lol. Tomorrow i will try more things. Until yesterday i didn't even know how to dump a rom, but it was very interesting learning with that thread.

Just be aware that whilst these methods do work to dump the partitions, the results of reflashing later on can be inconsistent.

Way back when they were all being tested in anger so to speak I zipped up the tools.

BTW, Not something I have tried, but from the looks of it, the batch tool looks capable of simultaneous flashing of multiple devices. Anyone know if that is true? If so, that would reduce the time to flash the 10 boxes considerably.
I've not heard of multiple flashing before but it does sound like a useful feature.

I also have wondered the same about the AML USB Burning Tool, looks multi-flash capable. I have never had two or more identical RK or AML devices to experiment with this. Curious though.

Yes i have read that flashing the dump later can be inconsistent, but also that this should be fixed in the newest version of androidtool, version 2.3. I just cannot find a way to dump the loader.bin, which is v3.21, and i can also not find it anywhere. Another thing i don't understand is why the dolamee d5 has no 'user' partition (at least not visible), but it has 2 weird partitions somewhere at the beginning of the nand chip, named 'trust' and 'baseparamer'. I am wondering how important these are and if i can just leave them out?

The loader is found in the stock firmware.
Trust & baseparameter is required for ARM trusted firmware so the rest of the firmware can boot.
User is merged with userdata partition.
                The latest Androidtool is v2.35.

You can use this tool to pull apart a firmware and get at the loader.

I do think that you are overcomplicating things for yourself though.

I like things overcomplicated. Best way to learn is trial and error. The loader is the uboot partition?

No, the bootloader will be RK322XMiniLoaderAll_V2.31.bin

Use the tool I gave a link to.

Put the stock firmware into the same folder as the start.exe file, rename the firmware to something simple (it doesn't like complicated namings) and then extract it and see all the partitions, parameter files and bootloader.

Hi all! I bought this box. In the instruction, it says how to enable Miracast.
But the application showen in the manual is not present .

I found only ONE (!) app in the market able to RECEIVE (not send!) MIRACAST.
But with this app, i have no audio and image is very poor and delayed . It's not possible cast videos from smartphone for example.

Is it possible download the original app showen in the manual?

                                THANK YOU!
