Here's my re-jigged H96Pro+ , it's not finished yet, i,m looking to install a 120mm usb low rpm fan on top but i'd like to utilise the connector on the board. Has anyone taken measurements of the pins? I need to paint the balsa wood bright yellow, then glue the plastic aerosol cap to the fan when its been fitted. Need to fit some feet and tie up/secure the cables to reduce the strain. I went for the out of box experience because that case has to be the crappiest i'.ve come across.

BTW If i don't shut down after use, when i come to use Kodi it states that the network is not connected??? It's running 7.1.2 any ideas?

OK jury is out on the aerosol cap led cover but i'm using a 12v fan so its running slow at 5v, whisper quiet. Lighting is quite subtle though it looks bright in the images.Temps are 40-42 deg watching 1080p

Hello. I would buy tv box Alfawise H96 pro+ 3G/32GB or 3G/64GB (from gearbest.com). I dont know, if it will work with seagate 4tb 2.5 inch external hard drive, which i am owner. There is some information on the internet, that maximum external capacity of this box is 2tb. Have anyone any experinece with mentioned 4tb? I couldnt find this information. Thanks

I haven't tried a 4TB drive (don't have one )...have tried 3TB + 1TB + 600GB and that combo will work. 1or 2 Extra thumb drives attached will force slowest drive to not display.
Someone else may have tested more sizes or combinations.

A month ago I bought my Alfawise 3/32 from GearBest. My troubles started immediately after first usage. Constantly rebooting, service stopping...
I tried to resolve problem with GB, but they are very hard and their support was useless.
I passed firmware upgrade with Card burner over SD, then after I thought it's bricked somehow manage to recovered over USB, different firmware...


At that time I didn't know about different type of RAM, MB's, firmer, 2-4 USB, diff between 4Kplayer and Alfawise, extra coolers and such a stuff I learnt here from you.

And now, I realized that I am at the beginning knowing nothing!
My questions are:
Which type of Box I have and is there any ROM that can be upload for stabile working because at the moment it drives me crazy
I'll paste pictures.

I I'm not mistaken (hard to read it) it's ZH01-S912-TVBOX-V3.0. It's not compatible with superceleron's roms and most of the stocks out there.

I'm running 2tb and 4tb on mine. works fine with 6a/5v power supply. used 3amp before but was not enough

Other two usb ports under plastic works ? Can all 4 usb ports be connected and working ?

Yep, all 4 port working. However original charger is just 2,5 A, so it's not enough for 4 ports (counting 0,5 A for every port, You will need 3-4 A charger, minimum, for all 4.
I think that's the reason they are hidden.

Hi to all I have for 1 year the TV box in the pictures, with the stock firmware it is 2GB /16GB. I had gave this to my son for present.
Now all of suddent it is not working, it is booting normally but when it come to the home screen it freezes, no remote nor wireless keyboard does anything.
I had tried rebooting, pressing reset button, nothing.
I have it with the stock firmware.
Does anyone has the same to help me? Is there a custom firmware to upload to the box? because this thread is for the 3GB 32GB version
