Actually i have no plans porting v5 for a912 model. My ugly dog ate my male to male cable
But if someone want to do this here is what i did.
I use SC rom as a base and unpacked it with the customization tool. previously i unpacked also original 106 ap6255 image and copy temp folder from customization tool to another location.
          level one i leave untouched.
from original rom in system i replaced wifi and bluetooth folder. also compared lib folder and it's files and replaced different libs (used winmerge to compare lib folder).
          i system/vendor/lib i replaced libbt-vendor.so.
in kernel folder i replaced uimage and edit lines in init.amlogic.board.rc
          hint:
          deleted: insmod /system/lib/compat.ko
          insmod /system/lib/cfg80211.ko

          replaced:
          service wpa_supplicant /system/bin/wpa_supplicant \
          -iwlan0 -Dnl80211 -c/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf \
          -e/data/misc/wifi/entropy.bin \
          -O/data/misc/wifi/sockets \
          -g@android:wpa_wlan0
          service p2p_supplicant /system/bin/wpa_supplicant \
          -iwlan0 -Dnl80211 -c/data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf \
          -I/system/etc/wifi/p2p_supplicant_overlay.conf \
          -m/data/misc/wifi/p2p_supplicant.conf \
          -O/data/misc/wifi/sockets \
          -g@android:wpa_wlan0 \
          -puse_p2p_group_interface=1p2p_device=1 -e/data/misc/wifi/entropy.bin

          and pack the img
Want to buy me a BEEEEER?

              Me too!

I'd really like to keep my two boxes in synch with the same firmware if I could...

Nice,-.... but i don't want/need money for new cable.. i'll make new one from old mobile phones data cables, i just need to find two somewhere in the attic, i'm sure they are up somewhere.
                but not today...

ok, later this day i'll mod v5 and upload, but can't test it until i make a new cable...

You dont need a cable for that, use Burn_Card_Maker instead and make a Sd Card Image therewith.
