I've followed this guide with much success, so huge thanks to pinguy for putting this together and Urgodfather for being willing to take over (=
one thing I've noticed, at least on my setup, is that there is no "fast scrolling" through the titles with L or R shoulder or trigger buttons. I'm using a PS3 controller and everything seems to be working fine elsewhere as far as input is concerned. I'm happy to provide any other info needed to help get this working

Thx pinguy for the work and thx Urgodfather for taking this over.
My question may be a bit off topic but maybe someone could help:
I'm trying to automatically backup my libreelec install, there's an option in libreelec settings. I learned this essentially creates a .tar archive of /storage/.config /storage/.kodi an /storage/.cache.
While backup via gui works, if I try via commandline I get errors because of /storage/.config/acestream/...
This addon is required to run the emulators, I get things like permission denied and file not found via tar.
I tried to just exclude this folder from tar but that didn't work as I learned this option isn't supported in busybox.
Ideal situation would be if I could also backup this whole emulator setup I have, so the question is if someone here knows how to do it.
I guess I could get rid of these permission denied errors by changing permissions but not the "file not found" errors. I think appear because of some links to other files that aren't in the backup dirs?..
Any help is apreciated.

Urgodfather - I was trying to figure out how to get a dreamcast core and found this:
which looks like it is a libretro reicast core compiled for the armhf architecture, and I remember that's what I saw earlier at
linked in this thread as cores to test, but I couldn't figure out where or if there was a link to download the core file... it would be cool to play jet grind radio on my android box, though. any way I could help test this out?

trohn_javolta There is more than one way to back up your config. You can use linux commands such as dd or you can use TWRP
jbelvin I would use the core from Jokersbox. Look at the first post. There is a link to his cores.

Urgodfather I see one called reicast_libretro.info but I don't see a corresponding .so file. maybe I'm overlooking it? I see things that look to say it ought to exist on the page I linked and jokersbox page from the first post. possibly I've been up too long, I'm prone to missing things right in front of my face, too. thanks for trying to point me in the right direction, at least (=

pinguy you are the best! Acestreams work great now on my Mecool M8S Pro+. I've got only 1 Question, is there a buffer which gets filled? Cause when I run some Streams a time long I cant open an other Stream, Plexus tells me that Acestream isn't installed. Aber a reboot everything works fine again
