Question

I have a MK908 unit which I installed this Firmware for and currently after the flash the unit will not boot. It will show GOOGLE TV for about 5s sec and reboot.

The only way I get this unit to boot in using update_mk908_106j2107_04


I would like to use this firmware due to the fixes and would like to use XBMC on this unit.

Using an MK908v1 and having trouble with virtual touchscreen input in Sixaxis. Does this ROM require the same type of fix as added in Finless 1.6a? Can the same update.zip be applied? If so, how do I trigger the update?

the update zip worked a treat for me on my cx919 on finless 1.6b,dont no if it will work on this rom but cant see why not..once the update zip is on the sd card it updates its self on a reboot & when its updated delete the update zip from the sd card

I placed the update.zip as the only file on a MicroSD, powered down and inserted it in my MK908v1. I restarted and during the boot process there was nothing to indicate that an update was being applied. Once it got to the desktop, I checked and the update.zip file is still on the MicroSD. I don't think it picked it up.

I guess u need to put it on internal memory (sdcard) not external (ext-sdcard)

I have tried this and other ROM for my MK908 v3, but all are booting into recovery ??

rom doesn't support the MK908 V3 to V5 lewy's focus is on other devices atm

Same problem here.. I am having problems activating bluetooth on Finless rom, so I'd tried this one on my 908v5. Didn't boot
