Actually, I also installed this rom on Cooleme and eveything works great
The only problem i have is that i cannot manage to root it. I copied supersu.zip in the internal sd and i installed super su app. But when i whrite "su" in the terminal emulator, it says "can't execute, permission denied".
I also tried to boot in recovery mode: impossible.
I know i'm doing something wrong but don't know what...

I'd say they're both pretty stable, but there are still issues with the Nougat release like the Mouse Mode not functioning. That said, the Marshmallow build still has the Amlogic codec brightness bug, which I find pretty annoying.

              Works great
Please solve Google Cast problem, the ROM will be fantastic. Impossible to connect to a Sony Z5. Samsung T113 works but with a lot of problems
Is possible add program to launcher in main screen??
              HBO doesn't work

                Hi

Nice Ron it works great.. but my board has the AMPAK wifi chipset.. when are you going to have the update ?

I have a little issue, Everytime it unit comebacks from sleep I don't have a wired connection, I have to restart the unit to have network access. Is this related to the missing AMPAK update ?

                Thanks

In the old remote.conf files that were used in Marshmallow and earlier for mapping remote scan codes, you just set "fn_key_scancode" to the scan code for the Mouse Mode button and were done with it. And while the remote keymaps have moved to the device tree in Nougat, there's no documentation on where the equivalent of "fn_key_scancode" is now stored. Looking through the device tree, nothing obvious stands out.

Setting the keymap entry for the scan code so that it produces the same key code as the old remote has no effect, so it appears they're pulling the setting from somewhere else. It's not clear where, and so at this point I'm referring the problem to someone with more inside knowledge of the Amlogic SDK 7.1. We could be waiting a while.
Magendanz, have you considered looking at the source code of LibreELEC for Amlogic S912? I'm using kszaq's current release with the full Nougat kernel (which requires an updated device tree) and I can confirm that the Beelink remote's mouse mode still works with that software. It doesn't seem to be using a remote.conf file either.

I've actually been trying to trace the codes paths using the Khadas VIM Nougat source here: http://docs.khadas.com/develop/Downl...oidSourceCode/

Also, I hear that the Amlogic SDK 7.1 patch update that was released on the 4th is reverting back to the remote.conf. That would make my life much simpler, and I'd only need to wait for the next round of OEM firmware updates.

Hi Guest . Congratulations for your great work. I currently have your Marshmallow version for A912. Will there be a Nougat version for this? If so, can I update it without having to use the USB method? Thanks a lot!

You'll need to do a data wipe to upgrade from Marshmallow to Nougat. There are new partitions, and so you'll need to use the Amlogic burn package. New partition maps can't be created via OTA updates.

Thanks Guest so I can update it through SD card or do i need to use the USB method? And can I use the wifi drivers from Marsh!mallow to Nougat for A912? I am currently usimg your ANDROID TV Stock 6.0. Sorry for all the questions but the A912 makes things harder and I dont have a Male-male usb

Sorry, I'm waiting for OEMs to incorporate the Aug. 4th Amlogic SDK 7.1 patch update. As soon as that gets released, I'll have a new round of updates, including the AMPAK patch.

And no, you can't use the AMPAK update that was created for Marshmallow on Nougat. I need to make one for Nougat, but just haven't had the time.

Hi guys, i have a small problem with iptv which might be related to codecs. After a while it repeats the same scene or closes the stream. With my other devices everything goes smooth. I use either perfect player or kodi. Please advise.
