Hi guys. Bought a m8s pro l (lb) this week, got20180316.143701.V0213

installed currently. When i go into sleep mode then wake up my bluetooth remote (with voice) stops working and it needs a box restart. Anyone know how to either downgrade (i have no idea which build i need) or how to fix because its so frustrating!

Dont think theres any firmware solution. What i did was is settings, disable sleep, power button=shut down.

Nuts. I wanted to use the sleep etc. A little frustrating. I hate the boot time.. i say ‘I’, i mean my wife moans.
hopefully they’ll be able to fix it soon. Apart from that is a good box

No Power On function - Need a learning IR like the other two ...

I bought this box about 2 months ago and it is running smooth I'm very happy with it...the LB version...

I'm just wondering is there any update on custom Roms or firmware for this box???

So I just received my M8S PRO L (LB) regular remote version. and on this one they seem to have changed the rubber feet at the bottom and also added a bigger heatsink to the CPU.

and I've noticed that they dont include the AndroidTV version of Netflix on it. (but I was able to sideload it)
Firmware is: 20181018.101400.V0213

This is newer than any OEM firmware post that I've seen so far. Let's see if we can get an online retailer to post it.

Alternatively, you can install USB Burning Tool (which will install the WorldCup driver), connect with a Male-to-Male Type A USB cable to the OTG port, type "reboot update" from a terminal window on the device, and run the Amlogic Update USB Tool (http://freaktab.org/8ed9a0505c61f6f9) dump_partition.bat file from the Windows command line. This will rip all the relevant partitions directly from the device, which will allow me to make update packages.

I have an m8s pro with s912 processor. I tried installing Libreelec via USB, but I had the wrong version now I bricked it. It has a blue LED, but I can't get any display at all via HDMI. I have USB Burning Tool on my pc and can't get the device to hook up. The reset button is not working either.

Is there any way to flash a new firmware on it without being able to access the menus or use the reset button? Is this the correct firmware to use? I opened up my box and I do have the 3g ddr4 version, though it doesn't have the "+". I'd really appreciate a short walkthrough on this!

looks like you don't have the M8S PRO L, you have a M8S PRO.
i suggest you research Amlogic Burn Card Maker, and get the right firmware for your box.
