For me 1080p kernels are a NO GO... Even the overclocked kernels (1.8Ghz, 1400Mhz, 800Mhz) stutter running 1080p videos. And I have the "HDMI flicker" problem (the signal goes down for about 3 seconds and comes back on) that happens at completely random times. I have a fan cooling the device so it is at a normal temperature and it never restarted.

Running dmesg shows me a lot of the "insufficient priv bla bla bla..." errors.
My last hope is that using the 720p kernel (no OC) fixes the "HDMI flicker".

I really need a miracle on my device...

Also can someone explain to me the difference between having 720p kernel running at 1080p and a 1080p kernel running at 1080p?

Streaming 1080 over LAN

I have UG007B not rooted, 2G/16G. Streaming 1080 video over lan is very choppy with the stock rom. Streaming local file is OK (not perfect). Antutu test is 17500. Quadrant test put this device on the top!!!
Does your new rom fix this problem ? I use MX player with HW+ decoder. Wifi is very fast (65M), no issue with BT. My video format is M2TS from Sony camera. Thanks.

I've Flashed my MK809III (Rockchip) used the 1080p Rom from this thread.
When I install XBMC(Frodo 12.2) and play 1080p & 720p movies the video is very choppy/laggy.

Could anyone help me sort this out please?

Here is the Update Version of my Custom Rom for the follow Devices, this release is only for the Stick´s after 07/2013 with the new WI-Fi Chip AP6210.

I updated the Rom with a New System and the Kernels from sam321 for 720p and 1080p.

Just now I est my just arrived ' USB 2 ETHERNET CONVERTER '
It's NOT OK

Specifications:
DIGITUS
.Ethernet IEEE 802.3 10BasseT and SB2 compliant
. 1xRJ-45 (STP)
. Support TCP/IP, NetBEUI,IPX/SPX

I install it in windows 8 ... just install drivers and OK

Any chance to be OK on my MK809III working great thanks to Your Rom ?

many thanx, i used your rom on my Jesurun MK 809III. it works like a motherf%*% i tried serveral roms, but this was the onlyone that got the streaming video right on several apps like RTLxl (dutch channels) (all the others freezed). there are some questions on this rom though.

• why is the speedtest.net not supported in this rom?
• is there a way to find a workaround on the not supported videofiles. With some apps like 3fm radio app the video stream is not supported. i dod not try any on my server yet.

I try by using 'reboot recovery' via 'reboot.apk' available in NEOMODE but NEOMODE reboot normal.
