Full HD stream Freeze

Hello. I m installing Ace Stream 2.1.4.apk and Torrent Stream Controller, HD Channels stuttering and freeze after 5-15 seconds, why? bitrate good, stick is not freeze.
I m use Neomode 1.3 and kernel 1080 4 september.
internet 70 Mbit, Router good Asus RT-N56U, Signal AP6210 MK802 IV -47-49 dbm

hey neomode i have a quick question i just got an mk802iv and flashed your 1.3 rom on it 1080p and everything works great except when the audio cuts in and out such as keyboard click sounds or opening apps i hear a very loud *CRACK* sound come from my speakers. before i flashed your rom it did not do this.. also when i play a song or something it *CRACKS* once at the start then is totally fine after that until i press something else.. any ideas?

Same Problem here with my MK809III. Tried both 720p & 1080p Images. Audio Cracks even without playing any sound. I guess the audio stream gets out of sync occasionally. This was no problem with stock FW, but unfortunately I have no backup and don't know where to get it from .

Update: Same problem with Rikomagic 802IV firmware. There must be some difference in hardware of MK802IV and MK809III.

Update2: No audio issues with neomode custom rom 1.0.

RD9700 USBtoEthernet adaptor with Neomode ROM

Hi all. After many problems (crashing) with the stock OEM ROM I've just flashed this ROM onto my CR9 and it's working great so far. I haven't however managed to get my KY-RD9700 USBtoEthernet adaptor to work.

I've tried various combinations of plugging it into the USB port, OTG port, before and after starting the stick and with WiFi turned off and Ethernet turned on in the setting menu. Note that it wasn't working on the OEM ROM either but I've tested it's functioning on my laptop.

Is the driver for this chipset compiled into this ROM? Does anyone have any ideas how to get it working?

For info, I'm aware this may not be the best USBtoEthernet chipset around but I'm stuck in a construction camp on a pacific island with no wifi access and no chance of getting a replacement dongle any time soon - so I'm hoping I can get this one going!

only one problem.....

.....with this rom (1080p).. ALL is perfect, but every boot I have to change "sound source" (usb adapter 5.1).... I put this source but every reboot it return to hdmi and i have to change source again.... Could you correct this.... All other things are perfect (ANTUTU 17.700!!)

That's reassuring to know, thankyou rceccleston. Gives me hope that it can made to work on Neomode's ROM as well.

After some further investigation, it seems that the USB-Ethernet adaptor is being recognised. When it's plugged in a MAC address is shown in the Ethernet setting field. Also when it's unplugged the Ethernet switch in the settings field changes itself to off (and back to on when the adaptor is reinserted).
I'm still not able to connect to the network but I'll move this to a separate thread because I suspect it's not related to the ROM.

I have tried this rom with a Jesurun K8 (mk802IV with new wifi), 1080p. Everything works out of the box. The output is really 1080p, but the text is scaled somehow (for instance, a vnc client has fuzzy fonts). Is there a way to fix this?

Yes.
You must change the DPI in Build.prop from 160 to 250.
This can be done with a Build.prop Editor from Play Store.

Oups, sorry, I should have check Settings->screen->scale: I needed to pull the slider to the rightmost position. Note that if you change the DPI setting, the screen is messed up (icon names partially masked, no more desktop background, etc). I had to reflash because of "System UI has stopped" error.

There are several apps called nullkeyboard, null keyboard, etc in Google Play. Try another one!

You must set Null Keyboard as default then it works. I use it in the same Configuration.

Yes and no. It works but no Wifi. We work on an Custom Kernel for this.
