Is there a good alternative for games + Kodi for max. 100-150€ euro?

I cant say anything about Gaming performance&price because I'm not Gamer!
But RK3399 Boxes pricey(kinda expensive) € 100 very good price but € 150 such expensive though

Again;X99 Box with stock ROM you never use it KODI!!! you should be flashed the firmware!

I use Kodi 17.6 with flashed SU rooted ROM

Note;I'v also tried Kodi new vers. 18.0 Alpha3 LEIA but failed,not stable or something wrong with our Box!

Buy H96 RK3399 and read of H96 Thread!!

But the H96 Max "only" has the Penta-Core Mali-450. I think this is not so good for games!? But if Kodi does not work with the x99, then that sucks.

Maybe there really is no alternative to the Nvidia Shield.

the H96Max has the same GPU as X99 , Mali864 , you talk about the H96Pro+ , a S912 Box with Mali 450 * 5 ,

only for Gaming the RK3399 Boxes are good , Internet too , most HD and 4K runs well , if you use the stock

Apps , look on YouTube for test Videos of the RK3399 Boxes , what Games do you want to play ???

Sixaxis works with PS3 Controller , small Info ,

For KODI;X99 Stock ROM failure!! but flashed SU-ROM O.K

Internet Speed performance;H96 better/stable-more fast than X99 !!!

So in this respect I connected my X99 to internet by "Ethernet" cable!!
2.4 not bad but 5G bad!
Ethernet way better!

I have lots of MAME arcade, games on my H96 max box. My s912 boxes and zidoo h6 pro couldn't handle the more graphically intense arcade games at all. Framerate was horrible
H96 max plays them perfect and even with graphics settings turned up in MAME app
Every game I tried from Google play store played with no issues to
X99 i'm thinking will probably play great too because of same hardware

I have found the "mecool m8s pro l". This box has S912 CPU, good GPU, ANDROID TV and VOICE REMOTE. Very nice box!! But is the box good for gaming and kodi? I think S912 is better fot kodi!?

I have kodi 64 bit arm version installed on H96 max and it plays smooth for me and I haven't had any issues
Have you guys tried 64 bit version on x99? Not sure if it is really any different than 32 bit version
I downloaded it from kodi website

I agree bergamesk. Aml912 picture quality much worse than rk3399. I only compared my rk3399 box to my Minix Neo U9-H and probox2 air plus and rk3399 has much better picture quality. Also rk3399 beats my zidoo h6 pro and h6 pro is much better than my aml912 boxes to

this stupid atvSettings.apks , they really think we dont know what a real ATV Rom is , a 8.1 for X99 and

But I do not believe that one sees a difference in picture quality in use. In direct comparison maybe, but otherwise...? I can not imagine that. Also in another forum I read that one sees no difference to the Xiaomi mi box or Nvidia Shield.

by the way I'v used until today more than 13 or 14 Box and all of them was AML912 !!
RK3399 much better
