Does this rom support HDMI passthrough? Can someone check in Settings - Sound - Sound devices if there are three sound devices: Rockchip HDMI, Rockchip HDMI Multi5.1 and Rockchip HDMI Passthrough.

Another question: if I boot into CWM how can I select different menu items. My experiences so far are that neither keyboard and mouse could be used.

Hi. I´m very new to this, but the instructions seemed easy enough. After pressing install update there was an android for a few seconds and then the screen went black. I´ve tried to restart with and without resetbutton. Is there any way to get my device back on track?

From the pics you posted seems a genuine board, no clone.
I think that the update.zip way works only on roms prior to 4.2, so maybe there's the problem.
Flash another rom, maybe finless 1.7, and then try again the update.zip way or an easier way is to install this and reboot into CWM.
Then you can flash digitopmod's rom. Dont forget to format sd partitions before flashing the new rom.
Finally you should also try MK808/B_digitopMod_v3.5_WALKMAN_Nov2013.

As i far i can remember it doesnt support HDMI passthrough.

Not even with keyboard...? I scroll with my mouse on CWM.
Just browse up/down and lclick to select.
Maybe you ve used an older version.
Install CWM through com.arctablet.arctool. It should work.

Hi. Thanks for the advise I really appreciate all the help. I realize im a noob here but if I just want to get it back to original, how would I do? I haven´t adjusted any setting in the device, can I still access it om PC? As I said i´m a rookie.

wizifreak is right, the problem is the update.zip method. you can't flash between android versions this way. Your device came with Android 4.2.2, this rom is Android 4.1, so if you want to install this rom, you have to flash a 4.1.1 rom via flash tool first. Because your device does not start any more, you probably have to get into flash mode with the reset button method (see finless rom readme for details).

i understand that in order to use this custom firmware i need to flash a 4.1 android using Finless explanations & then i could install DigitopMod_MINIX_NEO-G4 using the CWM.

If you bought it recently it probably a v5 with realtek wifi. Then my 1.1 works really well. I only have one issue to sort out. If you turn the tv off after a short time the stick will turn off. If this is an issue. Use 1.0
