Can I just switch out the remote config files to get the remote working?

The remote will work when you use the XannyTech rom for u211 devices.

XTMOD U211 Hi folks i'm here to present you one of my last public works. If you're used to my roms should be very familiar ;) It's based on a mix of firmwares and i took the best from every official firmwares published, most of the vendor partition is compiled just for this fw. I do not use stupid old fashioned

Insert a toothpick (or similar) into the small AV hole til you feel a click, it may take more than one try.

Hey all. With latest firmware i have an issue and need your help. I cannot for the life of me setup a Static IP on LAN settings. If i select DHCP all is fine and well. If i set up a static IP it says saved successfully but IP is empty. Any ideas?

Yeap thanks for the constructive answer. Having the IP of your box changing often, creates a bunch of problems when using FTP, ssh or Yatse.
I would prefer if you could verify if it's indeed a firmware issue or not so that I can look for another solution.

Thanks though, really appreciate the answer

Can we update firmware using USB on Fat32 format?

                            Or SD card is must?

I was having an issue of crashing. Box gets stuck and restarts automatically.

I upgraded to latest firmware, flashed TWRP. Cleared Dalvik and Cache.
Still it is crashing when using apps / doing anything.

Crashes are random, after some time.

My T95Q also rebooted itself 5 -10 times a day with the stock firmware. I was able to reduce the number of reboots by installing the Xannytech rom for u211 devices. After installation I disabled all unnecessary background services. What apps are you using? One of my apps that runs as a background service (FolderSync), sometimes causes a reboot.

I'm still facing spontaneous reboots but only 1-3 times a day.
