just wondering what box is this ROM based on ?

It's a bit complicated it's a mix but the main part is from a non public fw for X96 Max, anyway most of it come from Amlogic source so between all the s905x2 devices there are small differences due to the different memory, partitioning and hardware customizations. Then most of the ATV app are choosen app by app and downloaded from apk mirror or extracted from ATV gapps.

Changelog until now...

XTM ATV 2.0 Changelog (most of the thing i fixed are not visible for the users):
- compiled with modified dtb for LG tv (www.4pda.ru);
- fixed some bugs in generic.kl (not all key #28 will stay like ENTER to avoid problems with keyboards);
- re-added Cromecast app;
- kodi 17.6 to kodi 18 rc2;
- added native support library libamcodec.so;
- fixed optimizations for Kodi and spmc apps;
- removed presetted preferred app cause was causing a bug;
- corrected many issues and bugs to speedup the fw;
- updated all the tv gapps to the best versions;
- fixed a stupid bug in props;
- rebased firmware on a new version for X96 Max (not publicly available), Gt1 Mini will be based on 115N0

i'm investigating you know it's not my fault, but if there is a way to fix it i will.
For the other users:
You tube "bug" it's a problem just for X96 2/16 and official Youtube app and streaming videos, it's like this also on official firmware, probably it's a sort of video driver issue, i hope i can find a fix or the source from manufacturer will be fixed soon.

"More settings" was linked to the "standard" setting app but you came yet from tvsetting app the legitimate atv setting app, has full setting but one, it's because droidsettings come from standard rom, you know a real atv rom for our device does not exist.

sorry, maybe i misunderstood something do you want to change launcher on a Android Tv Firmware that is based on Android TV launcher?
If you'd like to add apps to the launcher simply push the plus icon on launcher
