Hello, Ive installed the firmware but the remote i have doesn't work with it, and I can't interect with the device at all.
What can I do?

I'm getting all kinds of crashes and sudden restarts on my K-R42-1 device. Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix this? I saw in the other firmware thread for this device someone suggested using a different kernel, would that fix it? I like that the navigation bar is disabled in this firmware.

I'm also very interested in getting Ouya mode to work. I went to Advanced->Settings but did not see Ouya mode in there. Can anyone give any instructions on how to get this option added and working?

Any news on update

There is already a custom rom with Android Kitkat 4.4.2 and XBMC just released the stable version of 13.0 which contains lots of optimization for Android.

I know that this question has been asked lots of time, but could we still hope for a new release of this great end-user Rom with those 2 new stuff ?

Bought T-R42 in Jan from geekbuying. Have been running Xbmc on it but having problem with high def. It is model number rk31sdk and running 4.2.2 android. Opened up the box after looking on here and system board has B351_V2.0 on it. Date 2013/09/22.

The kernal version is 3.0.36+

I am just wondering what is recommended to install on this?

Should I load the above and then put on 4.4? or jus leave as is and change the version of Xbmc? i am just using Gotham I downloaded from web.....

I recommend Wasser KitKat 4.4 ROM 1.03, but not the latest 1.04 one. Its the best and since you have version 2 board, you should use new version download link.
